Plus Jelly Bean out of the box somemore, Galaxy S3 and HTC One X users sure more jelly. It really deserves all the hype at least before the The New Sheep Phone being announced.

mindblowing specs with this price. i wonder if they use cheap component or what...

they can't even manufacture enough of the damn things for their own market, the last XiaoMi took more than 3 months after they start selling in the own market to reach other countries (even those who pre-ordered it), and the importers jacked up the price real bad, so there's no point getting it here.

this is one natural problem that most startup companies face...

to have a high volume production, they must ensure that there is a huge demand..
worst part is when the manufacturer is the very same manufacturer that assembles other brands of phones that compete directly with you and can place an order sheet that is easily double to triple your volume..

Someone brought in M1 but they are selling at RM1250.. I hope someone bring in this and sell at around the same price.

just wondering besides miui, how well will this device be in the development like cm10 and kang since that not really many people are able to get the device.

When M1 came it the same thing happen to S2 and Incredible..

So far no bad feedbacks for M1, I've being following the news and feeds for the phone all giving + points. I bet M2 will be better.

Warranty? Our sellers here in the forum offer to send them back to CHina for warranty at our own expense of course. That's a drawback...

based on mi one feedback, i saw lot of mainland chinese complaint about the built quality and also the camera sensor..although the camera using is 8mp with lot of feature but still far way behind to those giant..they using cheap sensor to lower down the cost..

secondly, i don't think we can get the phone on time as last time some of the peoples even took the phone 3 months plus after launching because overwhelming demand..unless u willing to pay more la..

but then it still a good buy!!!haha..

this IS a proper name, u will know where it came from straight away, unlike those horrible chinese cheaplak things that explodes in your ears they call call a phone that uses a 'universal name' to fool customers into thinking they are from other places other than China. This is a Chinese phone developed by Chinese and made in China, the name says it all.

Yeah.. i think camera is a drawback for them similar to huawei honor kind of lens. but again when comes to built quality anything else would be better than plastic right? You know what i'm talking about.

But again that that moment we are comparing a USD270 phone against the giants who are selling theirs at around USD600. It's more than half the price actually.

Well if the mi-one's reviews are anything to go by, the build will be of good quality as the mi-one was said to have a build quality that "matches those from other leading brands, which is a surprise for this price point." and also saying Having used the Xiaomi Phone for over a week, it's definitely left us a great impression: nice build quality and top notch specs for a $310 device. according to engadget's review last year

4.3" is a decent size. i always factor in the price gauge. For a device to have so much features and power crammed into it for such pricing, this has got to be a bargain.

miui is not a lousy development. they are in almost every make and model thread in xda. it just goes to show this phone is not only packed with power, but also packed with software support. and plenty of it. really good combo.

engadget update, Xiaomi might interested to offer Mi2 in Europe next year. peanut Malaysia less hope, or no hope at all for official launch here.

if you guys really still interested Mi1S or Mi2, either get china friend bring in or some dealer bring in with jack up price are only way. still worry about warranty? better forgot it.
