battery life quite disappointing...with screen going over 50% usage of battery...i managed to pull about 3-5hours continuous surfing on 3g...WiFi seems to save more battery about 8hours...

Wow, you sure do surf the internet a lot on your phone. I find with my usage it can last a full day with about 20% left. That's good enough for me. As long as it's fully charged up I'm OK for the day.

well yeah...looking to compete with note 2 next 3 weeks after my 3100mah battery arrives haha...

just disappointing on the screen power usage though....

Try to set the mobile network to 2G only, it can long last for at least a day if not heavy use (gaming).
This phone has satisfy me and hard to switch to another phone.

hope this help.. i read that have to update as the old rom the auto brightness tends to give problem

updated with JLB 7.0... the phone is optimize.. the battery life not bad for a quad and ips screen phone... with wifi off it only drop 5-6% for 7-8 hrs of idle..

after used mine for few days.. i found the battery usage is incline toward screen.. i think the screen the 1 suck the most power from the battery... not like super amoled of my frend s2, his s2 only suck 26% while mine 50% for the same amount of time... ips seem like power hunger... CPu, phone idle, wifi and 3g of this phone is not drain much from the battery..

there are 3000mAh battery for this model. but it is quite bulky IMHO

yea but I bought few original cover... haha.. so if I buy the 3k mah battery... all my cover will be "poof"

the 3000mAh comes with another original cover but u can see the phone become 'thick'
