It is an UI build on Android Jellybean 4.1 OS. You can say is a cosmetic interface running on Android OS.

Even GB 2.3 and ICS 4.0 also have MIUI.

MIUI is basically a system based on Android (AOSP), completely different UI and additional functions.
There are a lot of functions can be found in MIUI, but can't be found in AOSP.

miui is the widest known rom in the entire xda. almost every make and model has a miui rom or port in it.

no, wad i meant is tat china KIRF phones usually copy other country's brand like apple(US), sony(Jap), samsung(Kor), etc.
now their own country (china) is producing a good enough phone that the KIRF companies want to copy them. =p

Well... this is the phone I am waiting to buy if can get it under 1k. Otherwise, I will get Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

you with luck get probaly RM1.3K to RM1.5K which is considered cheap... spec to spec is better than S3...
