True Proud Owner of XP3 (LMAO).
The story goes like this, I reached SCLG, and the boss straight tell me, GR02 all sold out, I was very disappointed, and he tell me to audition again; the XP3 vs the GR02, so I pick it up and have it another go, to my surprise, it beats GR02 hands down, burn-in 70+ hours result, you won't believe how different it is compare to 0 hour.
All the bands comes out, clear, treble, mids, bass, everything sounds so clear after 70+ near 80 hours. The vocal is now much forward, you can clearly hear almost every detail (can't compare to sub RM500+ one) and the muddy bass is reduced to almost Nil, according to him, best sounding will be after 150+ hours burn-in.
So for whoever wants the best out of this Beyer, Patient, you must be very patient, the TRUE quality only comes out after 80+ hours, 150+ hours recommended but 70+ already gave me the shock, "Is this what Beyer want us to hear???"
So I took out my wallet and now looking for burn-in music (or whatever noise) to let it run the whole night, of course with intermittent pause.

Can't wait to reach that 70+ hours burn-in result.... yeah... Beyer~~

Update: Faster burn in using JLABS Burn In Player, already can see some result such as reduce muddy bass and bands all come out but will need more time to get more details out from this unit.
FYI I just played for 7 hours+.

Hi, Im currently using a cheap rm1++ dac ,i usually tune 75% of max volume for my hd668B, but for my xp3, the max volume still small , isit due to 98db low sensitivity? This issue even worst when put on Hippo foam which has longer "foam canal"...But hippo biscuit can give me sufficient volume when plug in xp3.

anybody can help solve this issue?..im newbie..thx

2) for burn in, must use good dac? can use handphone? small kbps song can do?(no time download higher definition in short term)

Oh~~ you can, Foobar can do EQ as well, and bypassing windows volume control, but I don't use EQ myself.
Unless you're talking about those EQ provided by those Realtek? Or Windows built-in so called "enhance" (bass boost, loud, etc.).

For XP3 I started with pink, static, white noise for couple of hours, that immediately remove the muddy sounding from 0-hour.
Next I got suggestion to burn-in using great movie OST such as few from John Williams.
After 200 hours I started to hunt for Vocal centric song, some bass-head, and different other genre, but focus on vocal more.
After 600 hours, well.. I think that's enough, good for everyday use already.

Hey guys, I got my XP3 about a month ago . Since then , I've been using it to play games and listening to YouTube musics . Probably already have 20-30 hours of usage . Is this considered okay for burn in ? Or what else should I do ? However , I've noticed slight improvement since my first use. Thanks in advance
