I always love bases but not a fan of techno or similars. As far as I understand the bass amount is same for all 3 models. The different is the mid-high part.

So I guess I'll play safe and take the best of both world.  hmm.gif
err.. your review on xp1 is one of the reason that made me reconsider. I was about to aim for xp1 initially.

What review is this? smile.gif I have XP1, using with my 3GS and laptop for portable usage. I aimed for XP1, went Jaben tried XP2, wanted XP2 but no more stock so took the last black XP1 biggrin.gif now using with Hippo Foam. The foam gives a real good seal.

I think I still prefer XP2, sometimes the bass just pounds my ears but still enjoy the XP1. Better than my old Sony earbuds plus it has the anti-tangle cable. I already have a pair of fully broken in Grado SR80i if I want more detail smile.gif Using lossless or higher bitrate mp3s with both my Beyerdynamic and Grado.

It is something like, in the first impression, xp2 will sounds flatter, more bass... xp3 has a slight v shape, more details. I would categorize xp3 is for more patient people as they require more burn in time.

What about XP1? Is XP1 comparable to Hippo White and Hippo VB?

But nothing more annoying than the cracking sound on whenever I tried to re-adjust the buds or pushing deeper inside.  mad.gif Is this common thing with large driver unit? I guessed there is nothing I could do about this? For now I use smaller tips than the pre-fitted one to minimize cracking but will sacrificing abit of isolation.  sad.gif

Yay another XP1 owner biggrin.gif ! Anyway, I haven't encountered any cracking noise but I upgraded the tips to Hippo Foam not long after I got the XP1. Much better seal from the foam tips.

5 pairs RM40 from Jaben. 1 pair can probably last you 2~3 months depends.

Yes this! Different sizes available. My friend went to redeem the RM 88 voucher for me and got me 1 pack of M size. Fits great!
