how does this compare with senn cx215 series ?
I'm abit annoyed with the tangling with the cx215... flat cable type should solve my problem

listen vocal, ambient stuff mostly.

got a xp3 from slgc something @ kuching. Tangle problem solve, but the thud sound from cable quite annoying.

review from a audio noob.

gear: foobar, realtek hd chip, fiio11. All EQ/ enhancement disable on sound card and foobar. Fiio11 on volume on 3.5, low gain, eq gain 0.

0 hour direct out from box.
first impression = feel conned, 200 for a piece of crap.
treble, ear piercing and harsh
bass muddy, overpowered vocal, just like those pasar malam rm 10 beat tour
vocal ? somewhat laid back/ recessed.


after 2 hour pink burnin using app on my hp + another additional 22 hours of normal use.
Treble sounds good.
bass, getting much solid.
vocal, still get overshadowed by bass easily, required slight tuning of foobar eq to get it forward. (220hz until 622hz)
Instrument details very good, can hear load of unheard before instrument sound.
final thought ?
