been using the XP2 for 2 weeks+... the base is good, watching movies using it felt like using headphone...

the only problem is the heavy cable and driver... easily loosen the insertion if u constantly turning your head like working on a 2 monitor... and the problem is compounded when tip size gap is too big.. i can't find a right size tip for a right fit... sad...

My personal recommendation will be Foam tips, it can solve this problem.

Hippo Foam will provide much comfortable compare with Shure Olive.

how can we ensure the Hippo foam size can fit since it comes in only 1 size? me also find the default tip by Beyer is very uncomfortable...

why the hippo foam is a disposable item? can't i use 1 pair for 1yr? biggrin.gif

yeah i kinda know it is squeezable like a rubber.. but still there is so much you can compress it.. so is it like a very soft rubberish stuff and won't cause any discomfort pressure when you squeeze it all into the ear and expand inside?

so the reason for it to be disposable is not because the elastic of the rubber loses power overtime and causes imperfect fit? Earwax can still rub it off right.. biggrin.gif

hi guys! I've been using my awesome xp1 for almost a month now

but i've problem fitting the headphone into my ear,

it seems like the part of the headphone that goes into the ear is too big for my small ear canal  sad.gif

it pop out after a while of usage and it is uncomfortable, so i need to use the provided double-flange ear-tip,

it fits better and doesn't pop-out, but it compromise the low range bass and not very comfortable.

are there any alternative ear-tip that is perhaps thinner and can make it fit better?

i got the same problem initially.. but after a while i guess with beyer XP, you are not suppose to fit it all in like the normal one.. what i did was change to even bigger tip then just let it stuck in between the outer of canal and the inner ear wall... it certainly fit better than if u trying to insert it into your canal.. but even so u can't move ur head too much.. like jogging..

how long is the beyer warranties ah?

bought my xp2 april 2013 and recently the wiring joint near the jack there is loose making the sound like half gone... bass gone... i have to keep on holding that section to make the wiring contact properly then the sound comes back..

sigh.. can't believe my old cheapo creative ep630 outlasted my xp 5 more years at 1/4 of the price..
