My interview was scheduled on the 2nd April at 8.15am... really nervous as this is my first ever serious job interview! But nevertheless, by reading this thread from the beginning, i learnt so much...
I hope the recent interview format will not change. Hopefully it is still like what ixus gave earlier smile.gif
I am asked to find this lady when i am at the lobby. Is that lady the person in charge of me or my interviewer??

Guys, how do we know an invitation to sit for online test is not a scam? I mean I've been hearing stories of Shell recruitment scam going around for years.

I've got email from an email address with the domain ###@shell.com

Is that a legit email?

Thanks
*
Did you recently fill in the online application form? If yes, the email you received is the follow-up email (invitation to online test). If the link that you open require you to pay some sort of fees, then you can be assured that it is a scam. But if the link brings you to SHELL webpage with some sort of questionnaire then it is from SHELL biggrin.gif

Don't worry...the f2f interview is very easy...at least mine was...just speak from experience and you will pass...

If you pass, we might meet at SRD...too bad I can't make it for the 1st session...maybe joining the 2nd session...
*
Hopefully I wont panic and stumbled there. Most importantly I hope I wont talk craps shakehead.gif
Congrats on passing the f2f interview! rclxms.gif How long did your interview session lasts?

Frankly speaking I think I did quite badly for mine. Panic like shit..but still manage to pass it with a lot of helps from lady luck haha. So have faith in yourself! Just do your best and things would definitely go your way!

Anyway mine lasted for about 45 minutes. Good luck!
*
Thank you! biggrin.gif I will try to be as calm as possible and answer the questions confidently. Hopefully there are no questions that I don understand sweat.gif
The time allocated for me is 1 hour and 15 mins... Not sure if I can last until 1 hour anot...haha

If your status is pending interview, you should get an email notifying you that you are shortlisted for an interview and one of the coordinator will keep in touch with you for scheduling...

So, how was your interview ? everything went well ?
*
The interview session was very relaxing and the interviewer was really friendly! A lot of follow-up questions so it's pretty an on-going conversation.
Everything went well (I hope so) except that I was late 45mins due to a massive jam caused by accidents. I stayed at Cheras Hartamas area and I came out earlier around 6.45am but I reached at 8.50am cry.gif
Really my bad day! Explained to the interviewer already and she said she understands (hopefully she really understand). Proceed at 9am and ended exactly 9.45am. The next time slot was supposed to be 9.30am but had to be postponed 15min later.
Came back around 10.30 - 11am and the same highway (lebuhraya cheras-kajang and lebuhraya timur-barat) STILL jam...butt to butt ohmy.gif
Guess it's not my luck to get SHELL. If I am to be rejected, I know the main reason behind it already... sad.gif

Anyway, lesson learnt! Prepare to go at least maybe 2 hours earlier! cool2.gif

So, will the phone interview be the same as the f2f interview? Previously, at the later stages of the phone interview, applicants have to select a topic and talk around 2 - 3 minutes about their thoughts. From what I read over the last couple of pages, there's nothing like that this year, is that correct?
*
As for my case, yup...it's correct. There are no part 3 where you will be asked to talk on a topic you chose. Mainly all the questions are related to your past experiences and how you handle/overcome challenges in a team.
I am not sure about phone interview but I guess it will be the same.

If you have participated in a lot of projects before I am sure you will have no problem in describing them. Just be honest and talk from your experiences. Don worry, most questions are follow-up questions...make sure you are prepared to answer and keep the conversation going.

Good luck! biggrin.gif

I would like to ask, previously I could check the communication status when I login into the shell profile (where you could track back the emails that they sent to you). But today when i logged in, I could no longer check this anymore. Is this happening to all or just me? sad.gif
*
I was wondering the same thing! I thought it was just me...That button is no longer there ohmy.gif
Not sure if it's for temporary or permanently removed... sweat.gif
