This processor thing is absurd, even the best supercars have clock speeds less than 100Hz.

If the name Petronas is green, and the rest of the car is dark blue and white, won't look nice.

Yeah, they reduce the radiator size so that it works just as efficient as if it was in normal weather.
The chances of engine problems are pretty much the same. But the benefit of reducing radiator size is very very big, the reliabilty is neglegible. |

BMW Sauber uses ALbert2, one of the world's fastest supercomputers to design the car's aerodynamic body. It's main memory is 2,048 Gb - it 256 nodes with two Intel Xeon 5160 processors each, and each of these has two cores. This results in a total of 1024 cores and a maximum computing power is 12,288 GFlops. This means that Albert2 is capable of performing 12,288,000,000,000 floating-point arithmetic operations per second.
Taken from gizmag.co.uk Hope this works. FOund one picture here. Sorry cannot upload because it won't let me. Not a good picture but you can see the new aero elements at the sidepods. Everyone is doing that this year. How would everyone know to put that thing there? http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_new...es_art_id=30307 This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Jan 16 2007, 08:22 PM |
