Jaques is too old for all this.
Petronas is not the main sponsor, so no green color
BMW Racing color (all racing, not just F1) is Blue, White and a little Red.
If they want to win, get rid of Jaques quickly

Well, ralphie is still available, but if they want to aim for the championship, younger drivers is the way to go now. If they can poach Heiki from Renault, it should be good

Yoong is not for F1. He's fast in CART tho, which is quite amazing. Anyway, if sauber Petronas engineering is still there, than some Petronas personnel sure will keep their jobs

i knew that is not bmw sauber car lar....juz to show u about BMW echnology..thats all.........

It's not BMW technology and it never was. BMW never interfered with Williams's design of the car. They just made the engine.

yeah, remember last year that Ferrari refuse to agree on testing ban. Time and testing are the most thing an F1 team cannot get enough of

BMW Sauber F1.06 - double-decker front wing

At the F1.06's post-launch test session in Valencia, BMW Sauber immediately started development of the new car's aero package, trialling different versions of the front wing. The latest used was one sporting a double profile, following the concept introduced last season by Renault and subsequently followed by many other teams. This solution seems able to provide additional downforce, but with a proportionally low increase in drag, and is very likely to be used when the season starts.

Damn, tiru last year Renault sial. argh, BMW got no original idea nowadays. Wonder how long it will take them to copy the McLaren's horn

argh...every copies in F1, nothing new. the vertical exhausts used by everyone now was pioneered by ferrari.

I know, but with that statement that comes with the graphics, it seems that BMW pioneered that. I also just read the F1 Mag Feb issue. Seems that they have a bigger wind tunnel than both Renault and McLaren but they cannot fully use it to it's full potential

Well, I trulli share ur view. Jaques is a "have been". He was a great WC but he don't have the same hunger as the young guns of Kimi and Alonso. Nevetheless we have the great Deutsch Heidfield!!!

Yes if they build a team around him just like the 1997 season
*
nope. that year the williams was so powerfull that it was said you can take some obsecure person, put him in the williams car and he can become world champion. Jaques has an issue with both Patrick head and Frankie Williams in 1997 and ppl believe that he can become world champion because the car was soo fast.
another pont to ponder, in 1997, the team was not behind him, but only renault.

Actually it's no luck. Michael knew that he can't win that day. so he did like what he did to damon hill in 1995. He ram into Jaques
unlike 1995, jaques can continue the race and Michael was deemed to make an unlawful and unsportmanship move for the SECOND time (after 1995) so the FIA had no option but to DQ Schummi.

Schummi is not as good hearted as everyone think.

Also, the BMW engine has been on the down for the last 3 seasons now. las tyear, it was the toyota who had the best engine on the grid. this year, it;s cosworth

Petronas are sponsor only now, unlike previous years when they were not only sponsors, but worked side by side with the Sauber team using the Sauber Petronas Engeneering (SPE). SPE has now been bought by BMW.

Rosberg will blow the engine every second race tongue.gif
anyway, it's too soon to see improvement from this team. For one, the team is based in Swistzerland, which is a far cry from the traditional central england base for most of the other teams. england is easier because there are nearer test tracks and most of the workers based there so no need to commute that much.
Also the BMW headquaters are still based in Germany, so it will take a long time to send and recive data between the headquaters and the BMW-sauber base.
give them 2 or 3 years

Teh F1 fuel is the same as the one used by the companies to sell for regular consumers. this is because the FIA want's the technology used to be shared with regular ppl.

McLaren - Mobil 1
Williams - Petrobras/Castrol/Texaco (will change according to venue, same company)
Ferrari - Shell
Red Bull - Shell (part of engine agreement with Ferrari)
BMW Sauber - Petronas (with Syntium as engine lube)
Renault - ELf

Nope. Texaco is the parent company of both Castrol and Petrobras. Usually, they will use petrobras as the sponsor, but for races where petrobras is not sold in the country (like here and the USA), it's changed to the one more that is sold here. No extra money paid. it's the right of the sponsor
