Just came back from SW and it was not affected by the flash flood.

Btw, the car parking system is in trial run till Feb28. Until then, we are still free to use the car park :-)

Just collected my keys. According to SW Customer Care, the card system should be ready by end of this month. Until then, I am not going to pay any maintenance fee!

According to HLB, my first instalment is due immediately (a.k.a., on March1)..

Oh my God! Would condo nearby to KLCC and/or Jln Tun Razak and/or Jln Duta drop to RM200 psq in the next 48 hours?

I hope SP Setia, MPSJ, Wawasan & Bdr Puteri resident associations can quickly come to an amicable solution on the "fly-over" or "tunnel" access to SW asap..

The current U-turn access to SW is dangerous, slow and definitely not elegant at all

Wawasan residents think that inflow traffic from LDP directly to SW (see red yellow below) would pose danger to vehicles turning from Persiaran Wawasan to LDP, while Bdr Puteri residents think that outflow traffic from SW to LDP (see blue arrow below) would pose danger to vehicles turning from LDP to Persiaran Puteri.

The concerned parties have agreed to meet in early March to find a resolution for this long outstanding item.

SW is steadily attracting more and more crowd especially during evening and weekends. Now cars need to be in queue before entering car parks, cinema is crowded....

But IMHO, SW could achieve a greater height if (1) SPS makes the traffic access easier and (2) gets/opens more outlets

I was having an al fresco dinner there yesterday, and during the 1-hour dining, I kept on hearing passers-by praising SW. Here are some of the beautiful words just for sharing:
Wow! This place is so nice!
Lou-gong/lou-poh, buy one for me... I want to stay here!!
Wow! The canal is so romantic!
Mom, I want to swim here!

hello davkong, should we change the group name to "resident@setiawalk" so that other residential blocks can join in?

Hi David, first of all thank you for adding me to the FB group.

IMHO, to get started, we can begin with a single FB group for all SW owners/tenants, thus the "Resident" can either be owner or tenant. And perhaps we can call ourselves the SetiaWalker? ====> SetiaWalker Group !!!

Purpose: To use FB as the social media to create, share, and exchange information/ideas about SW, especially relating to "Live & Play" aspect of SW
Suggested title: Setiawalker - The social place for SW's owners and residents
Why start with one common group:
A bigger audience would likely keep SetiaWalker group more chatty, thus encourages more people to share and at the same time learn from others on what is happening around our neighbourhood.
Note: Fyi, I hv seen some FB groups became dormant over time due to inactivity, and some even failed to take off. Also, a larger audience/voice sounds more convincing and people tend to be more attentive to us..

When time is right (e.g., a critical mass is reached for certain special interest group), then new group(s) can be branched out but, in the first place, I suggest let's get people to start sharing "freely" without erecting boundary amongst us.

Well said! IMHO, SW would attain even higher boom if SP Setia colud improve traffic access quickly, and get another anchor tenant(s) (e.g., grocer) to SW Mall immediately.. Come on SP Setia, you hv a great plan for SW, but pls execute it well! Tx in adv.

There would be a meeting this coming Tue March5 between SW, MPSJ, Wawasan and Puteri Resident Associations' chairpersons. Let see if they can execute it well.

Spoke to Deva of Mgmt Office. She said they card should be ready by next week, but with a good "upside" of getting it this week :-)

The designated broadband provider for SW is Maxis.
