@ibbrio, i assume your nick stands for 'i bought brio'? . Have you collected your keys? They will bring a pail to fill water and pour at balcony. If the supervisor did not do that you should insist. The supervisor who checked with me that day was very proactive, he list down many defects which i did not notice. Regarding the louver door at yard, only type D 1+1 units using these, others using normal doors. Louver type better for ventilation but hassle to clean. I just randomly knck around wall and floor tiles. The view from Brio entrance is not as bad as imagined, but still can be improved. The Skybar looks cool and very nicely done, at least some decent view from swimming pool. Can dry your clothes at balcony lar, everyone in Solace also doing that. Else buy a dryer la.

QUOTE(JayC75 @ Feb 25 2013, 08:11 AM) last sat went sw around 830pm, already jam all the way til U turn there, after i finish my movie at 1130, the jam is still there, wonder why..perhaps the trial parking is slowing pp going in? The entry into underground carpark in SW is narrow and single lane. There should be multipl entries into the carpark, one in front of Bee Cheng Hiang, one after Affin Bank, any more? Residents will have their own entry lane which is not completed yet.

QUOTE(bizklguy @ Feb 25 2013, 12:48 AM) hello davkong, should we change the group name to "resident@setiawalk" so that other residential blocks can join in? Hi bizklguy, Solace has one existing FB group, but I think the owners have a separate private group for themselves. I can rename the group but how about the management, will there be separate groups managing each of the towers or will it be managed by the same ppl? At the moment Solace's management is taking care of Brio.

QUOTE(aquest @ Feb 27 2013, 04:41 AM) as far as the unit interior is concerned, i opine that the workmanship cum finishing is definitely a notch above TZ that i had taken delivery of vp a year ago. joint inspection was assisted by the maintenance guys as well. the main con, jasmurni has put up an office at R2-9-10. brio could have been better had the main con paid more attention to painting (especially those units on 16th floor n above) n sps had chosen a more solid main door. defects liability period is a surprising 36 months.
Yes, paint works are very shoddy.

Hi guys. Got letter from Hong Leong Bank, 1st installment starts this month. But then, my outstanding amount shown in the account is more than my loan amount by some RM1200+. Is this the interest for the month of Feb, since VP was obtained in 28 January 2013?

QUOTE(a123 @ Mar 3 2013, 12:17 AM) Considering its condition, parking charges are very reasonable. Only RM1 for first 3 hours. Maximum charge is only RM2 per day. In addition there are more than 40 lifts from car park to retail or office level. No need to walk too far. You can find many signages of retail lots at the car park lift. Yes, there's always a lift nearby anywhere you park. Very convenient.

QUOTE(T816B @ Mar 2 2013, 09:47 PM) Yes, Hong Leong added in the interest in their statement. Your installment will be shown in next month's bill, but again, next month's interest will be added in as well. Does that mean when I pay my first installment of RM1660 (due on 01/03/2013), I have to pay as well the outstanding balance of RM1200+ for the month of February, or that will be bore by SPS?

She said they card should be ready by next week, but with a good "upside" of getting it this week :-) The sooner, the better, since there was already ppl staying in, as I was told. Have you visited Brio lately? Are the other facilities up and running?

QUOTE(bizklguy @ Mar 5 2013, 12:42 PM) Some update: 1. TNB bill is here! Pls collect it from level 1's letter box. Minimum charge is RM2.55 and due on March27. 2. Critical facilities (e.g., access to Resident Parking and 7th floor's swimming pool/gym) are still NOT ready. We sincerely hope that SW management would waive the maintenance charges until the (key) facilities are made available to the residents/tenants. Frankly I am quite disappointed with SW management as I hv not heard any response since I wrote to them more than more month ago. How can they behave like they are not SP Setia employees? Being a world class company, I expect them to be responsible, responsive and sensitive to their customers' needs. 3. More shops are coming, which include laundry svcp (above Sushi Teh) and Nasi Kandar cafe. I wrote an email requesting for waiver too. I got a response that they are looking into this matter and will update us on the decision by the management.

QUOTE(bizklguy @ Mar 5 2013, 01:03 PM) Thx for the update. At least they (selectively) replied to some of us. Frankly, I hv higher expectation of SP Setia employees. Which email address did you send to? In my case, I sent to the FMD's email and cc to Setiawalk Customer Care, and the reply was from Customer Care and not FMD.

QUOTE(T816B @ Mar 5 2013, 02:02 PM) The team that runs SW Facebook is equally bad. They just post what they want to on FB, but ignoring the questions/comments from others. Anyway, I noticed that for Solace/Brio, the door from the carpark to the lift lobby (every floors) are not closed by itself all the time. The door was supposed to latched on automatically but due to the wrong latch used, it is left open all the time. Anyone could just sneak in from the carpark, take the lift up, straight to your units. All visitor carparks are in LG floor. There is an entrance for visitors cars and another for residents. If the visitor's entrance can only bring them from L1 (carpark entrance level) to LG, then they hv to go through the main lobby and security in ordrr to access the lifts. I havent got the chance to verify this, anyone can update us?

QUOTE(charlieboy61 @ Mar 5 2013, 06:05 PM) They also have moving in deposit, if i can remember is 1K I remember Brio has three tier deposits... minor (like moving in stuffs), moderate (painting works, etc.) and major (kitchen cabinet, wetworks, etc). Can't remember how much for each but for major works is RM5k.

QUOTE(Neoh1979 @ Mar 6 2013, 09:12 AM) Direct ramp from ldp to setiawalk already approved. To complete by end 2014 Good news! A bonus for SW! I just hope the construction of the ramp will not jeopardize the future pedestrian bridge linking the current bridge to the LRT station across. Interesting... so it's not as per the initial ramp plan starting from the current bus stop following LDP direct into SW? Can you describe abit more of the U ramp, start point, alignment, enter SW from which side, etc?
