Update on my FTTH

Ping for online game still super high..local 300ms..overseas 400ms
Youtube smooth, HD without lag thumbup.gif
Browsing speed consider normal
P2P and torrent full speed @ 1200kbps biggrin.gif

Today is 1st september already, maxis claims that all internet service will be back to normal already

My main problem with maxis is the latency. Download speed and upload is completely fine, full speed.

Today, the latency to local server already become to normal <15ms

but latency to overseas server still bad! sad.gif

Yeah...online gamer like me really boring waiting already
Until the point I subscribe to my mobile broadband data to play online game..the latency definitely lower than ftth maxis!

Anyone here having frequent disconnection issue today?
It is so annoying, every 5 minutes it disconnect and if lucky it will be automatically reconnect back, if not I need to switch off the router and turn it on back then only can use

Is maxis line problem or the router kaput?

The fb group was created by my dad, we are so disappointed with the service

Now my maxis fibre no connection and are force to subscribe expensive mobile data plan!!

My rounter events log always disconnect and take very long time to be connected again

When I check event logs, it state kernel warm/cold restart! What is that mean? The date also change back to 1 Jan. Its like the router reset setting itself.

Anyone here facing the same problem? Every 15 minutes always disconnect because of that kernel restart. How to solve it?

Finally I get rid of the thomson router rclxms.gif After hundreds of complaints, today they come and replace the router with Technicolor TG784n v3

If i play game to Asia server, i just use my Umobile mobile broadband, ping is definitely better than maxis home fibre

I just get replacement yesterday after 2 months of complaints...last 2 weeks i keep pressure them to come and it worked

Depends, they may give you refurbish thomson or new Technicolor router...I got the new technicolor
