Guys, any of you here using tg784v3 router? Maxis went a level up and even disabled configuring DNS via telnet. Please support me in complaining to maxis here https://forum.maxis.com.my/forum_topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6740Btw for those using this router, your only choice is to to configure custom dns on ipv6! Not ipv4 Just use the following open dns ipv6 http://www.opendns.com/ipv6/Cheers

QUOTE(rubrubrub @ Nov 27 2012, 11:48 AM) i got the readiness score from the link you provided. www.opendns.com/ipv6. I changed my dns according to the website and then there's another link to test my ipv6. i tested and got a 0/10 readiness score. and for the image, there;re 5 servers. how do i know which one i'm using. Oh ignore that, just use these ipv6 DNS servers 2620:0:ccc::2 2620:0:ccd::2

Piece of cake.
Just go to Home network, then click on the device you wish to assign static IP via DHCP pool, then clk configure, and check "Always use the same IP address:"

QUOTE(lokwm @ Dec 3 2012, 12:15 AM) how to assing 192.168.1.168 to an device? coz "always use the same ip address" i not manual assign an ip to a device.. I get what you are trying to achieve, but I think the GUI doesn't allow that. Why do you specifically need .168 to a device? If that's the case, just set static IP on the device straight away? Cheers

QUOTE(imahappyklown @ Dec 7 2012, 10:55 AM) I was under the impression that installation fees are free, but I have a contractor right now that is about to lay the cable and is asking for 6 bucks per meter and says that he needs to install up to 130 meters. That's gonna set me back 780 bucks. Is that normal? Only if you opt for non standard installation.

QUOTE(healtybiotic @ Dec 16 2012, 03:31 AM) aik how come u guys can access? mine is problem loading page. its like blocked already. i used google dns also cannot. not used also cannot. this is freaking weird. aiyo want to watch movie also cannot. this site is the most awsome If you are using Thomson v3, you need to set ipv6 DNS server on your network card configuration instead of IPv4 DNS server. Refer how to do it on page 1 Works fine just for me

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Dec 16 2012, 02:00 PM) Bro, Thanks for the info. I can't access the IPv6 site as well. I'm using Technic Colour v3 too, I log into Broadband Connection > under link status, IPv4 connected and IPv6 disconnected > eInternet Viewmore > details > ICP/IPv6 Settings, the IPv6 state was disable. There was no "configure" button to click and I was not able to edit the values under ICP/IPv6 Settings. How did you do it ?? Thanks Well, enable the IPv6 state, then configure from there. Cheers
