QUOTE(bladegun @ Oct 12 2012, 01:12 AM) deposit.files is blocked by Maxis's DNS. Change to use Google DNS. Quick 2 question be4 changing to google dns. 1) Will the change to google dns affect downloading speed from file-sharing sites n torrenting? 2) I need change the setting on my pc onie or need to do it on the router-level?

QUOTE(bladegun @ Oct 12 2012, 06:54 PM) Google DNS will not affect your download/torrent speed. If change on your PC, when you connect to another internet gateway, you will still use Google DNS. If change on your router, it will apply to everyone who connect to your router, so you don't have to change your home's PC 1 by 1. So, it depends on you. Quick question. I had been using the FTTH for 4 months now. THe line shared by me and my brother. (me ethernet and him wireless). But sometimes i notice under devices connected to wlan, other than my bro's laptop there are a few "unknown" devices. Apa tu? Its normally labelled as Unknown-70-a3-95-ac-3g-45 etc...

QUOTE(phantasm0110 @ Dec 22 2012, 12:54 AM) if ur house no one else is using wifi, most probably "hitchhiker" from your neighbourhood. please change your wifi password to WPA+WPA2 instead of WEP. WEP can be crack easily but its already on WPA+WPA2.........
