Seems like many user rage with maxis about the P2P throttling.
My recommendation to all torrent user.
Get a seedbox.

i use seedbox coz i use private torrent client need to have healthy seed/leech ratio.
and at my home got many user. i dont want to hog the network when using p2p software.
last time i use streamyx 4mb with xunlei client. my other family members cannot even load a webpage.
i know can set bandwidth limit, but using seedbox is better as i can maintain ratio and dont hog the bandwidth.
and seedbox service is pretty cheap.

i also previously got same problem as u.
but mine only the cable from the pole to my house is broken so nothing major.
call at 8am. TM technician arrive at 12. problem solved in 1/2 hour.

FYI torrent only capped during 8-12 pm.
no matter public or private, it will be capped during that period.
other time ok.
