Maxis solved their internet issue in SJ area, I can finally online back to normal now. FYI, they called me to verify and also got RM 30 rebate after I request from compensation.

Even if IPTV is available, what's the difference with Astro?

Some more, I don't want to ruin my family's mood of watching a show half-way, then TV blackout because Thompson router need restart. doh.gif

u have a point overthere..
or else, they should change to tg799 model since no body is complaining right now abt that model.

Hey,

I am moving to a new apartment next month and am wondering about getting Maxis fiber. We are currently on Unifi VIP 10 and have no issues, but Maxis being RM60 cheaper a month is tempting.

How is Maxis for speed and latency, particularly to the US and Europe compared to Unifi? Particularly for FPS and MMO games.

Cheers!
*
if u are looking forward for gaming, i suggest u stick with unifi as maxis still in the stage of very high ping to overseas servers

shocking.gif Higher level .....!!??

My block got 11th floor .. I'm staying at 1st floor .. meaning speed will be much slower than others ? doh.gif

high ping = bad connection/response

download/upload speed will not be affected

I opted for E-Billing for Maxis Home Fibre and STILL receive paper statement...+ e-Bill. Maxis really wasting money.
