Yah .. weird I wonder where to let store it within the case itself ...
hmmm and what's the purpose ... just to cool off the back of gc ... I wonder how good it's to cool off the entire card itself.. |

Probably they can't find any solution for all these hot babes..
Furthermore the stock cooler most of time works just fine ... not like previously where most coolers screams like madness ... Besides they hit the ceiling with their cooling design method .. especially for Zalman the flower type just won't work anymore on those heat generators... As for Artic Cooling they have the potential but so far no insight of such implementation yet .. Too bad I'm still waiting in dying for 2900XT cooler ... |

reasking: in the pic, it states that 7900GT is compatible. but in the specs sheet, only 7900 GS and GTX. anyone can clarify?

If it can fit 790GS and 7900GTX, offcourse it can fit 7900GT.http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Cooler/...2/cl-g0102.asp# The mounting holes for those 3 models are just the same. |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Jul 30 2007, 11:23 PM) As almost all graphic cards do give out temps on the back of the graphic card and this is also the same thing on a processor and a motherboard, as all of them put out heat on the back of the graphic card and at the back of the motherboard. To get the best cooling, you can add the HR-11 at the back of the graphic card so that it can cool your graphic card GPU unit more than normal. It also acts as a back support for heavy GC heatsinks such as Thermalright V2 & Thermalright HR-03 series so that the base of those GPU heatsinks will get a better contact with the GPU die. QUOTE(fuzagi @ Jul 31 2007, 12:50 AM) Sadly, it doesn't reach our malaysian market.I'm interested on it too. Have been asking a lot in bulk orders that carries thermaltake products, but so far, none of them got good news on it. |

Any other recommendations/ well from reviews and personal usage i would recommend it bcoz it can support both nvidia and ati cards and its quite good in terms or performance...pros of it -better performance then vf900cu -its only rm95 -can support ati and nvidia cards with its multi holes -its silent (20db) now for the cons of it -its fugly -its big (blocks 1 3/4 pci slots but can put in a sli card if wanted..) -its heavier then vf900cu (320g mar) for other coolers i would recommend is accelero series from shawty lor, but not zalman, bcoz it is grossly overpriced |

but accelero s1 or s2 performance not very good, I scare it is worst than my current reference cooler. I hope it can go around 60-70 degrees when load.

I saw the performance from one of the review, the performance is worse than 1950pro stock cooler. Even with turbo module, still cannot cool as good as the stock cooler. Only thing is it is silent even with turbo module. Maybe tat review not true, i dunno la.. but i think there should be others which can do better.. My fren galaxy 8600gt OC'ed to core 600mhz load only 67c like tat. The card is using cooper coolermaster G1 cooler i think.

Added on August 1, 2007, 10:48 amanother thing is the card is too tall for my casing, i got a intake fan on the card and i think it will obstruct with it... any other recommendations? This post has been edited by ben3003: Aug 1 2007, 10:48 AM |
