Bro, its actually a waste using Ron97. Using a higher grade fuel when the car only needs a lower grade doesnt give you much advantage. Maybe a slight advantage in a slightly cleaner engine but still not worth the RM3/L price tag. Plus, using a higher grade fuel would make more sense during city driving as the engine is under more stress in start stop traffic as compared to a constant speed rev on highway drives.

In my previous Vios, i used Ron 97 for a some time until i had to change to Ron95 in 2010 on instruction by my company. I didnt feel any difference and the engine and acceleration was the same.

If you are really particular, then maybe give yourself a full tank of Ron 97 once every 3 months just to clean out the engine. But seriously, i wouldnt waste money on pumping Ron97 that often.

i think cm98 means that the price of ron97 at rm3/ltr is expensive, not worth the daily use. but i think occasionally use ron97 for cleaning or some even recommend pump 2/3 tank ron 95, then 1/3 ron97 for each full tank pump is advisable. Ron 97 has higher combustion rate, hence cleaner burning. Long term, less carbon formation at burning chamber. How bad is ron95, cant tell.

It seems lotsa ppl here got this issue with noise from the sunroof....I wonder why Naza not solving this issue before passing the car to the customer upon delivery.  Anyway, i got a question abt the car alarm. Does it have siren, if somebody breaks in? Or even breaking of window. Thanks.

got alarm already, just that many cars nowadays dont have that panic button on the remote.

To force trigger ur car alarm, simply lock ur wife inside, u with the remote walk away from the car(15~20ft). wait for a while(1/2min??), then ur wife open the door manually from inside. Actually, there is a motion sensor inside the car, so ur wife moving inside oso will trigger it.

But, since u already post the 3rd party alarm at rm1600, i assume u already installed another alarm. Maybe u can try at other K5.

I just used it last week.
1) Run at the speed you want, then activate cruise control
2) The push the knob to "Set" (on the steering, right)
3) You're on cruise control. Then you can use the same button and push to "+" to increase speed

Really? Don't think you need to maintain the speed at a certain time. Well I was driving at 110km/h. Then I activate the cruise control (make sure a light of an icon comes up at your display panel). Then I  put the knob to "Set". Then its done. Can lift my feet away from the accelerator pedal.
If still doesn't work, better check it out.

Shah, you may prepared to lower again the price quite substantially as the current market value is only at approx 120K (for year 2012) and you may check at Mxdah site that are priced at sub 120K level. And, if after raya which is between Aug~Sept people will start to look for year 2013 car instead and the year 2012 car valued will lower down again accordingly.

I would advise you to publish the sale information at various automotive/car site and sell it at sub 120K level then you may get it to be sold more faster rather than wait until approaching year 2014 then the car price will down some more  perhaps to sub 110K level.

My bro is looking for 2ndhand K5 but i think his budget is lower than 120K.
