Actually, HLB is acting in line with Bank Negara's "Responsible Financial Guideline" to reduce individual debt ratio period. As such, they can only offer 7 years loan with immediate effect. Most of us are caught by surprise. HLB has applied this for all HP application, irrespective of makes and models, until further notice.

However, other banks are still not yet affected by this ruling at this point in time. There is a possibility that Bank Negara may impose higher restrictions in the months to come by imposing a margin ceiling of 80-85% instead of the current 90%. Therefore, those who wish to borrow to the full, my advice is better to lock in your loan now instead of later.

Ya around that range for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd service and it will increase further for major service. Same for all cars i guess

with such low interest, i think buying 2nd hand is not worth it unless u really get a very good deal. And don forget 2nd hand car u not sure what happened to the previous owner.  a lot to consider.

3.5-4% like that usually , just very seldom chances to get lower then that . even Toyota used car also same interest , no much difference for used car interest

Can get a brand new 408t for that price. Optima is certainly a pretty face,but test drive the 408t and you'll realize how much better this car is! Engine and gearbox are smooth as silk,Optima's engine sounds harsh and crude!

Pointless asking. Servicing a new car is always cheap. Try servicing the Peugeot after 4 years. Kia wont be cheap either but still no way as expensive as Peugeot. Servicing is one thing. Part replacements is something else.
