QUOTE(K5WHITE @ Aug 28 2012, 09:47 AM) i had Sierra Glow back early march this year, so abt close to 6 mths already. My car is white, and stains are very noticeable on the paint. Last Sunday, took my family to tanjung sepat, and it was raining on and off, hence heavy mud stains on the car. I came back, use water to hose the sand away, and then cloth to wipe. Dont need strong arms or big effort to wipe those stains away. Where is this place again? Could anyone provide me with the contact number? Thanks! No shampoo used, and the car back shiny |

QUOTE(nickyrox @ Dec 7 2012, 02:29 PM) To all sifus out there.. I wanna ask, is it a wise choice to buy a car now or after election? Any opinions out there? Would be appreciated.. Will there be any huge difference in terms of pricing? Because thinking of getting k5 this month.. If all the "election promises" are true.. tax of cars would drop from 250% to 90%. IF "they" win. and IF "they" keep their promises!! |

QUOTE(funnybone @ Jan 2 2013, 05:01 PM) Yea. I concur to the 3 issues you highlighted. I especially hate the water dripping into the boot part. I got another issue actually, not sure if its the car design or the tint. During daytime when the sun is shining brightly, the dashboard is reflected onto my windscreen. Sometimes this can cause my vision to be obstructed while driving. Wonder does anyone face this? I know what you mean. At certain time of the day, maybe the sun's angle. Half of the windscreen is your dashboard reflection. I have to sit up higher jst to see what's in front. Happened to me a few times before. Morale of the story, dont polish the dashboard too clean.. haha!!Added on January 3, 2013, 4:35 pm QUOTE(FlyWheel @ Dec 24 2012, 12:52 PM) An Interesting Article : Yes, i've heard it many times... it's for sotongs like me!How Hackers Can Use Smart Keys To Steal Cars Weblink : http://jalopnik.com/5736774/how-hackers-ca...s-to-steal-cars Added on December 24, 2012, 12:55 pm Yes! QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jan 8 2013, 09:39 AM) Currently the best Ron 95 fuel in the market is the new BHP Infinity Advance 2X. Its a Euro 3 fuel while all other fuels in Malaysia are still Euro 2. Ive tried it and its quite good. But sadly, i have to stick to Shell due to company policy. Damn! Hahaha! Same here too... |

QUOTE(funnybone @ Jan 8 2013, 11:31 AM) Is this really true? There are differences using BHP? My company policy only requires me to pump RON95, but did not state what petrol brand. However, it is quite difficult sometimes to find BHP stations compared to Shell. Just outta curiosity, if i'm going abroad for 10days, should i left me petrol tank full or empty? does it even matter? |

QUOTE(Orbituary @ Jan 8 2013, 11:43 AM) thats my workshop told me to practice that in order for your battery life goes longer... and battery need to recharge by ignite your car engine... im not sure about new car, but one of my gen2 and iswara had to practice that, or else the battery will die in 5 days time (and i need to jump start using jumper), maybe some of the electrical component is still running such as clock/ alarm and etc.. thus, it consume the battery .. and battery might dry out total if too long never start your car engine.. emm.. interesting. I think i'll pull out the whole battery. Jst in case. Haha! |

Hey guys, can i ask u guys a question.. which is a better way to start your car.
Option 1: Hold down the break, and push the ignition? or Option 2: Press on the ignition 2 times, hold down the breaks and then start? Bcos the way both option starts the engine sounds different. Weird.. |

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Mar 28 2013, 05:03 PM) Option 1, is the standard way to start engine Why does starting using option 2 engine ignition sounds shorter than starting with option 1? Option 2, is only used when Option 1 fails. Sometimes, the brake switch is faulty, and the car is unable to detect any braking, thus would not allow the engine to start. The owner should then send the car to the SC to change the brake switch at the earliest convenience. Thank YOu How could starting the engine sound different? Anyway, thanks for the reply! |

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 28 2013, 01:30 PM) I use Option 1 from day 1 for my 3-year old Forte. No harm done. I believe the K5 will behave the same also. No.. not really. Option 2: If use Option 2, it will simply beat the purpose of having a push start button right?..might as well use the conventional turn-key ignition Step 1) Press once on the ignition button, you chair moves forward. Step 2) Press again, the "System Checks" and all the indicators lights up. When the "ABS" word goes off then.. Step 3) Hold down the breaks and start the car. I have been driving my K5 for 11months using option 1. Recently, my friend jst got a new k5, tells me, option 2 is the correct way. Before this, i didn't even know option 2 existed at all. That's why i asked u sifu out there.. and hopefully there is no option 3 to start my car.. |
