Hey guys, here is the new updates or changess for latest K5...

1) NU engine
2) Motor driven power steering - way smoother and lighter compared with the hydraulic steering
3) Auto up and down for all 4 windows
4) Mute button for the rear parking sensor - BUT there is no front parking sensor
5) Door lock and unlock button on front passenger door
6) The indicator is on the left, and wiper control is on the right side

Please add on if I missed something...

Hi mate,
I will get my new K5 on next week (wait for road tax). Would like to share about the all new K5 that comes with NU engine Euro 4 version. (That's why the indicator and wiper control have swapped).

I was told by my SA this morning that this NU engine required Ron97 petrol. However, she claimed that it could be set to Ron95 at SC.

Appreciate if you guys could provide some info. Apparently, I am kind of worry whether this setting is a good move. And will it affect the car??
Cheers!

Guys, need some advise from you as my sales agent is going to bring my car tomorrow to the services center to do the tuning from Ron97 to Ron 95. Please let me know whether it is feasible to do so. Or I still can pumped Ron95 without having to do anything to the car.

If you free. Follow your sales agent together with your new car to service center. Ask technician for more details before they do this 'tuning'. Or any impact with/without do this tuning. Maybe there is a simple job that change the ECU program or adjust some parts in the engine.....

Hi mate, went to the service center and the boss said no need to do any setting at the moment. Asking me to pump Ron95 as usual. However, he still not sure what will happen to NU engine as Kia haven't sent out the memo to them. So.....I guess I will continue on Ron95.

By the way, I am still using the first tank of Ron97 pumped by my SA. And K5 is a lovely car to ride!! Love the car so much especially the electronic steering, very smooth and light!! But the sounds proof when hitting 120km/h is rather noisy. But..who cares!! K5 is amazing!!
