What sales man told you is right. It sounds when you exceeds the speed limit. But he didnt tell you the key point. You have to fully press the pedal in order to exceed to speed limit that you set.

In owner's manual it mentioned press pedal more that 50% and the car will exceeds the spped limit. But I found that i need to press more that 75% in order to exceed the speed limit that i set.

I feel it is quiet useful for me especially in highway. I can overtake car if needed and most of the time car runs at 110kmh. Lets have a try~~~~

Maybe you can set the speed limiter to 60kmh and try first. One things I dislike is I almost fully pressed the pedal in order to exceed the speed limit. And you will hear the engine suddens surge loudly.

No.. not really. Option 2:
Step 1) Press once on the ignition button, you chair moves forward.
Step 2) Press again, the "System Checks" and all the indicators lights up. When the "ABS" word goes off then..
Step 3) Hold down the breaks and start the car.

I have been driving my K5 for 11months using option 1. Recently, my friend jst got a new k5, tells me, option 2 is the correct way.
Before this, i didn't even know option 2 existed at all. That's why i asked u sifu out there.. and hopefully there is no option 3 to start my car..

guys, just drove down to Singapore from KL... spend about RM100 on petrol and came back with half tank.
was really a comfortable ride and didn't feel tired at all...of course the normal 1 hour wait at the causeway.

was cruising at 180km/h till johor border (took me 1 hr from kl) and car was really stable...but don't really
recommend to drive at this speed

average fuel consumption is 6.4L/100km (for the record) wonderful car to drive for long distance and am
glad i choose a K5 over many other cars out there.

is K5 having the speed limit control? or we can activate it and deactivate it ourselves? sry for the noob question

I found an issue a few days ago when I tried to open my boot with the switch by the driver's door. I realise I cannot open it with the engine off.

Is this normal?

Bro, is ur car moving when u press on it? If not mistaken, when the car is moving it will not work. For safety purpose may be.

Just now i tried to press my memory seat after sent my car for tinting as they have adjusted it earlier and i forgot to press my setting before driving. Then while driving and i press "1", it doesn't work then i press it again when my car stop during traffic jam then it works.
