Vios have a hollow 23mm front ARB, the UR one is solid, i read that its difficult to install...

different purpose... ARB are more for car "twisting" during cornering, can adjust the understeer/oversteer depending one the thickness of the front and rear ARB combo
other bars are more to chassis enhancement, making the chassis more solid

ohh... then you might need to check with the local shops around your area...
if its significantly cheaper in KL, can order then just give your local workshop installation fees

Thanks for sharing bro. Good info.

Just put on stiff ring on my Vios (2009). First thing I noticed, the car and steering is more solid instead of the "lose" feeling and noticeably quieter on uneven road.
*
Congrats..good choice. Enjoy the ride now.

if I open car boot use the driver seat switch, then the boot will not able to close, the lock was jam. if I use the switch from key then it ok. may I know how can I fix it without cost a lot. no more warranty at sc. because no going back for service.
*
Maybe there is safety switch accidently activated? I mean can either only use key to open..so remote act as a key. Just my guess..

Some people say vios G spec and J spec the under carriage is different. Example the lower arm for G is much more solid than J.
Maybe some who knows can comment.

Hi guys,

I'm vios07 owner, S type to be exact since 2008.
I do have question for all sifu's, my autolock not function as normal as previous condition. Not even after reach 20km/h, except manual lock.
Can any sifu's advice any solution.
*
wild guess is the autolock module is faulty. Have it change but new model vios does not have this options anymore.
Not sure if Toyota has old stock autolock module.
Good Luck.

Hi guys, any of you know the place to install fog lamp in Klang Valley area?
Mine is a J-spec, so if install would they cut wire and hence void the warranty??

Thank you for your kind information.
*
There is plug and play fog lamp for Vios. The $$ is the matter compare to other after market brand.

yea, i know it's plug and play for e-spec and above. but J spec do not have any wiring and push button around the dashboard. so a lot of addition wiring work has to be done.

correct me if i'm wrong.

thanks!

My is j spec and plug n play. No wires cut.
My model is 2007 and above. but the function is break paddle.

I also happened to face noise coming from the front side passenger drawer there whenever moves through un-even road, guess what...the root cause of the noise is due to the lid of the drawer itself, after closing the drawer, there is still a gap between the drawer lid and the dashboard, so when car moves over uneven road surface, the drawer lid will vibrates and keep knocking thus produces the noise, solution is to place something heavy in the drawer so that the drawer lid won't vibrate, or paste some rubber tapes around the edge of the drawer lid to stop the noise.
After all, nowadays Toyota cars fit and finish is not really good already I would say. But this car is still nice to drive.
*
The sound on my car doesnt seems to come from the dastboard. Its coming from passenger side doors.
I quite loud now and really cannot tahan already.
The dasboard compartment has a solution to it, just wait to get the damper installed and settle.
Our vios doesnt come with damper., so have to get it outside.
