Ur driving which spec? Both J and the rest differs.

Im a J, so far ok.  The only rattling sound coming from driver side engine bay whereby u can hear loose part jumping upon crossing sudden hump.

City does have better cabin comfort.

Ya, using Petronas Ron95 as well.

Im currently at 2k+ mileage. The service booklet does indicated 1k for 1st service. Void what warranty? I dont get u.

Sit ine before, cabin noise is much lower. Over the last 1 week, i've visited soundproof expert twice to get the cabin noise sorted out, especially the rear hollow resonance and tyre traction noise. Now its much pleaseant driving exp.

I did rear boot, 3 layers... And today wheel arches 5 layers. Cost me rm1.8k.

Im a lazy guy, sure Auto.

Oic.. 1-2 months period gap wont bring any harm. Just drive till 1k only send for first service. Mine hit 1k in 1 week coz i travelled outstation twice.

Alot members here mentioned to let the engine runIn, and it shall gets better over time. Also, it depends on ur driving behaviour, and traffic condition. Mine is like 40% city, 60% highway.

Perhaps, u would like to highlight this bad FC to SC during the 1k service.

Currently now my average is 10.5
My current ODO is 1.8k mileage

When I first got my car it was 9.6-9.8
As I drive more it gets higher.

But which Ron95 fuel is the most saving u can get efficiency yet doesn't give much problems to the car? BHP?

mine is a J too.

Average is around 12+/L based on RM70 per pump. Getting around 400-420km range.

the wind noise and engine revving is still highly noticeable even after the 2 treatment i've did.

as for roof, no need to say la~

thought its some parts knocking sound from the engine bay of the driver side?

better consult your SA on this.

i install the first day i got the car. so far no problen wth SC.

Theoritically, anything that is 'plug and play' wont void ur warranty, this is what the SC told me.

I wonder which bars u guys installed into your ride. Mind to share?
I heard it sourced from engine bay... Still figuring out the solution.

I having the exactly same problem liked u guys.. But only till tis early morning after went to SC.. It's cause from the loosen part of lower arm.. After tighthen up and put some lubricant.. The problem solve?!.. And YES the irritating sound gone so far i drove/tested until jz now.. Tis was my experience with the famous problem u guys having here.. Happy Motoring everyone ))

the milo tin sound of door panel can be rectify by applying dampening. I think it cost around RM600+ for 4 doors, 3 layers. If better, get 5 layers for RM800+.

I didn't do it since my main concern was tyre noise and hollow resonance in the cabin; therefore only did rear boot and wheel arches.

I think no need to wait until 2nd service at 5k. I'm currently at 2.3k ODO, and plan to send in next week to rectify the lower arm knocking sound, loud hissing noise from steering upon turning, and the bloody loose brake pedal rod.

lets see how.

tried to call SC Balakong just to book a checking for tmrw, they said weekend only do normal service and no diagnostic provided. KNS!

week days no need to work meh.

Any idea on the door speaker size? Planning to get a 6.5' compo.

if the rear connection is plug and play; and we could source for this faceplate; then i think its possible.
