its easily available at major online stores.

there is actually another alternative whereby you can apply tint on the door step to avoid scratches.

forgot is mudah or lelong, i saw people selling E/G/TRD spec HU,
it come with the frame so should be able to install on J spec.

btw i tot having original 2-din slot is arguable an advantage,
u can plug n play any 2-din on market so no need extra buy a bracket.

i'm waiting for android HU getting popular and cheaper...  hmm.gif

saw 2 actually, 1 is the Pioneer OEM built for last Vios 2-Din HU, then another is the one from latest Vios TRD version.

Yeap, i bought it from him yesterday at Klang. Today gonna install it; should be plug and play:

current J spec bracket have advantage to get any compatible 2-din HU since the opening is there; unlike the G/TRD version HU bracket. But bear in mind that our 2-Din is much wider than standard 2-din HU.

i had same experience, after that i guess u have to wait around 1 minute after press lock button in order to activate alarm... so to test, u press lock and wait for more than 3 minutes then use key unlock the door and alarm will sound

Still heavy for me... Prefer lower profile... Minimalist...

Lets wait further then

congrats bro,
what is the step they remove the bracket?
*
They just remove the faceplate, remove the HU screw, then unplug it.

Then the G spec HU with faceplate as 1 set, fit in... The wiring is totally plug and play. Just that the power cord socket need to remove an adapter. It comes with stock J spec HU. Just remove and it fits for G.

Hope this helps.

Did anyone here changed their stock speakers to component set upon new car arrival?

Would it void my warranty if i change it? SA advised not to take the risk. Local accessories shop said its ok since its only plug and play, same logic like HU replacement.

Any light on this?
