Hi all! I would just like to ask if there's any of you here who have given birth in Pantai Hospital KL. My OB is Dr. Yap Moy Juan and will have me deliver in that hospital. I would appreciate any feedback that you may have.

Thanks a lot!

I'm thinkin of seeing Dr. Choong at Pantai KL. He seems highly recommended by my friends' friends.
I want natural birth (no episiotomy) if possible, and he is one of the very few Drs who encourage it. thinking of water birth too..

just delivered in pantai bangsar.
3d2n, single room.use nothing, only gas to relief pain. RM4700.

doc alone charged rm800 (delivery) + rm800 (consultation +visits).
think it depends on doc.

money minded & simply charge doc... just like mine. come out this figure.

May I know who is the doctor? I'm currently seeing Dr. Wong SK.
Going to deliver there in a month. How did you cope with contraction pain?

I superlove dr wong sum keong! he's the best! I was in labour for 30 hours haha but I did it naturally! Really grateful to have him as my doc.. my bill came up to RM5.9k because of the 30 hours of labour and another additional night stay, so 2 nights in delivery ward and 2 nights in single bed bedroom.. no epidural only 2 japs of phetidine, nurses were good, I even hired Jothi (dr wong's PA) for home visits because it was my first baby!

Planned Caeserean at Pantai Bangsar, year 2009.
Single room - 4 days 4 nights.
Mother's bill = RM8.6K
Service/nurse - good, no complaint/nice nurse, also baby friendly hospital - strongly encourage breastfeed, they have Lactation nurse around to guide you.
