i have 300 gf 200mf ... when i do inferno run w/o valor stack.. i wont get rare
when i do nightmare run.. even w/o valor stack i get so many rare ==
after valor stack in nightmare , the rare like flooding in core of arreat

5NV guarantee a rare drop from Elite/Boss

1.0.3B, high MF will have better chance getting more properties in rare drops.

170mf, 2 weeks of farming act 3.
without NV5, 2-3 magic/rare from elite/champion. 2.5 magic/0.5 rare ratio.
with NV5, 3-4 magic/rare, 2.5 magic/1.5 rare ratio.
sometimes thou, I do get 3 rares from one kill, feels good mang~

borrow the complete MF gear for Dh from a buddy with 226MF as base... did solo act 1,
managed some rare ilvl 63 (2~3) but stats are bad..
quite farming..
leveling up a wizard now..

getting yellow shits fill up ur stash+inventory is guding

with 0MF based 5nv, farming act 2 will net me one full inventory of rare (VotA, CotB, Oasis, Black Canyon, zk) but...
99% are trash.

farmin higher acts might not yield u good drops also.

from what i know, MF affects the quanilty(number of drops)....
still, with more drops, u might jus get lucky

Not so true..MF does help in getting the chance of higher afflixes. However, yes I think Act 2 is not that rewarding. I reduced farming Act 2 with 120base MF since I still get level 55 rares...Act 2 dying chance is so much higher compared with Act 1. I can run Act 1 with 245 base MF without dying (unless meet crap elites like Molten/Vortex/Wallers and IM).

Sure Act 1 still gives 99% crap but at least I dun have to pay for reapir fees. Only reason why I still farm Act 2 is that hoping for the crafting plans to drop whihc sadly...I only gotten 1 so far.

drop rates are fine if u have efficient route..

but then.. identifying them is another case...
