I wanted to buy a Swift, and I test drive drive a CBU unit year 2006, looks like it is not keyless. Forget to ask the car dealer. Do some CBU unit don't come with keyless ? And did it come with immobilizer ?

Thinking of buying 2nd hand 2010 unit....
Price around 55k t0 60k....
Then I saw the Mudah.my ad that the prev. forumer posted...

Dafuq.... super cheap...

So I started thinking, whether to choose the 2nd hand 2010 model or go for this GX with bodykit+leather seats+Navi HU... and of course the 5 years warranty and free service...

But then, i started thinking about the auto retractable side mirror, 2 speakers (can install more rite ?) and keyless go....

Can i atleast install the auto retractable side mirror somewhere ?

This is bugging me now....
* also does the 2010 model comes with USB/AUX input ?

I am currently considering to part with my Swift, it is a grey CKD 2010 unit with keyless and steering wheel audio control.

I am looking to upgrade my current ride to a bigger one since we got a baby at the end of last year, space is now a contraint with all the baby stuff that we need to bring along for a trip. Not really urgent to change but we have been looking around for cars for a while already. The Swift is still in great condition so it is quite hard to let it go at the trade-in price asked by the dealers. Keeping both cars is also an option but it would put quite a big hole in our monthly spending since the installment for a bigger car would be higher than the payment for the Swift.

U guys use others brand motor old?? My sc using shell 5w-30 only.. semi as i see the price.. can self request use others ah? the SC i go seem no choice...

I'm planning to get a Swift with Manual transmission but I know that 1.5L Swift only come with Auto transmission.
Is there any way I can change the gearbox to manual?
or I must choose 1.6L Swift Sport in order to get a manual transmission?
and why is the Suzuki website no longer have Swift Sport model in their page?

Another big question mark in my head that I hope you guys could help me out..
Is it ALL of the Swift Sport are imported unit(CBU) from Japan?
as I know normal 1.5L Swift has CBU and CKD but I'm not sure about the Swift Sport 
and how to differentiate between which is CBU and which is CKD Swift?

I practise top-up petrol with 10:1 (ron95:ron97) to take care the engine.  any opinion?

btw new model the signal is at side mirror..if lets say i wanna change to ganardo side mirror with no signal, whr can i find the fender with signal hole and the signal itself, does suzuki service center have the replacement part?
What else different between old and new model? keyless, auto flip side mirror + signal and???? 
oh ya! swift sport come with traction control function right? 

now I got 2 choices running in my mind..
1st - get a 2nd hand 1.5 swift auto then slowly transplant to 1.6 swift sport manual plus convert everything to swift sport
2nd - straight get a 2nd hand 1.6 swift sport manual and peace of mind
but..after some calculation, transplant and convert will be cheaper at the end of everything compared to straight getting a 1.6 swift sport. Just that I have to put the car in workshop that require lots of time and who knows, problems might happen during transplant process plus quite a number of procedures/documents to do.

so which one would be a better choice? nid recommendation from all sifus here

Ppls who usually opt for the performance doesn't really bother about the FC anyway.
There are SSSs who can only reach 200+km per tank, but that's how the way they wan their car to perform.
MacPherson is the Strut, Monroe is the suspension.
Yes SSS comes with Monroe, it's stiffer, and slightly taller than SS.
Do note that the 4 disc brakes do make a different tho.
Juz get the sport directly, or else juz wait for the ZC32S, estimated around 115-120k new.

Getting a half cut already costs u like 7-10k including gearbox.
While adding all the crazy mods u have planned, I'd say 20-30k at least?
The new SS priced 64k is KOSONG, + your 20k its about 80k already.
Year 2010 SSS is now around 70k un-modded, you do the math and make the call.

Actually, define your performance car?
I think that is just basically an engine part.

For wat I think, SSS does a very good job among the cars under his category.
And they are JWRC qualified, which what makes me think that it IS performance based.
Which lead to, handling, tweaked engine, build, chassis, material, etc etc.

I'm planning to get a SS as well, but yesterday i was told by d SA that d old model SS GLX ody discontinued. and the showroom only left 1 last car. for GLX model. his reason is that they r pushing d GX model in d market. is this source reliable? since i didn't  hear any news bout it.. btw, I'm in kk area, sabah.

And he also mentioned that new SSS will not come into Malaysia as well.. was hoping that he's just trying to get me to fast2 buy d car..
