Guys, im thinking of installing UR strut bar, front and rear, not sure on rear installation should choose which one, so many bars for car, pengsan, install all then become jail dy, not need D3 jailer anymore... rclxub.gif

Before that, knowing that you guys installed b4, just want to know your opinion, like performance improvement, worth or not bla bla bla, btw, if i go to their headquarters as mentioned online, can i get the installation done there too?

Ultra Racing (M) Sdn Bhd
No 25, Jalan Bukit Permai Utama Tiga, Taman Industri Bukit Permai, 56100 Kuala Lumpur.
Tel: +6 03 4280 4213
Fax: +6 03 4280 4313 Coordinates: N 03° 6.774' E101° 45.453'
Business Hour : Monday - Saturday 9.00am - 6.00pm * Close on Sunday and Public Holidays.

Next up maybe do SG. This one also popular i think. nod.gif

Any idea which UR bar i should get? Don't want to play big yet, most probably 2 bar for starting. blush.gif

Ya, i do that purposely. laugh.gif

OK, now i need to start compiling the problem... hmmm hmmm... PLanning to post yesterday, but saw all just greetings greetings only, few ppl active, then i chose tonight. LOL

Added on August 20, 2012, 8:38 pmOK, this is it guys, the problem a bit small actually, ok lets start it this way.

Last week, Friday morning, i went to Ultra Racing to install the front strut bar and 23mm rear anti-roll bar. Was happy about the change, esp the front strut, really can feel the difference just after driving it straight! thumbup.gif Anti-roll need further test, although feel less roll during uphill, but the front was too obvious the difference. Maybe i should install front strut only instead of both, to appreciate the new rear anti-roll. sweat.gif

here comes the problem, im going to do the car service for the third time i think. By next month or 30,000 km (just clocked in 21000++km now. The service stuff, which i think most probably, will proceed with dad following around, so i will need to explain those stuff to my dad. Oh gosh... Nevermind on this, die die must explain liao... shocking.gif

Another more troublesome is-- installing the ARB replacing the stock will void my car warranty right? and by doing so, how is my free car servicing? Will that be void also? if that is the case, my dad will become very mad. zzz. Im doing the service in Ipoh, most probably the proton edar showroom there? bro Ckk last time you met my dad there right? So how if the stuff there found out the newly install UR front strut bar and rear ARB? Will they start charging due to the warranty void bla bla bla? hmm.gif

I have yet to inform my dad on the new mod. So what you guys think, will the new installation of front strut and ARB void the free servicing/warranty? Sadly my service booklet seems to be at Ipoh. Cannot check what they doing during that 3rd service. Hmmm...

Hopefully im worrying too much on this. blush.gif

I installed both. Don't worry. Will not void anything. Still can claim. But rear bushing no need change lio. It's diff size.
*
I see, good to hear that, so you just do your servicing free after this? BTW, the rear ARB is really quite a pain in the ass on the pricing... sweat.gif

I think im more confident liao, just that anyone done their third service? I worrying they will check too much stuff on it. Your car during servicing will be lifted right? then the person will notice the ARB, white in colour, awesome and easy to spot. sweat.gif Sorry for the noob question, i havent done servicing before, only by dad. sweat.gif

So this time im a bit worried.

PS: you installed any other bar bside above 2?

LOL, thanks to your long mod list, erm... but anyone can confirm this warranty stuff? after installing the ARB and front strut? All can do the free service after the bar installation? im afraid of different service center different point of view. Some wont allow service, hopefully all is the same. they dont care, then GOOD! rclxms.gif

I install the UR front strut and rear ARB @ UR headquarters. As a side note for future price comparison:

ARB: RM498
FSB: RM198
Installation fees: RM30
Total: RM726

PS: they offer me on the discounted installation, if separate, will be RM20 and RM30 i think. or RM10 and RM30. Cheaper one is for FSB installation.

Proton technical team have a look at my car before, they didnt even bother, even when my car have suspension noise back then. i got my bump stoppers changed as well as absorbers. nothing about warranty being void.

the eon fellas wont dare say void lah...  wink.gif
*
How about ARB? BTW fremont and sothy done it, think should be ok geh... bump stopper you get aftermarket part? BTW, will find one day test, see the rear left rattling still got or not after ARB installation. Hmmm...

I installed both at different times. Then u can see the diff.

Ultra Racing have a website specifically showcasing how their bars contribute to occupant safety during a crash, just show your dad that website, sure he'll be speechless  thumbup.gif

When I installed bars I also told my GF they stiffen the chassis and make the car safer (It's TRUE OK!) icon_rolleyes.gif

But hor... the name "Ultra Racing" on the bar there huh... really unconvincing... LOL My dad not a tech savvy and not touching PC till now, and proud of that. Hard to make him believe. But since its a fact. I will make this one point. Haha

The front strut bar can see, just in the middle. It is obvious when you open the hood, the bar all white de, with the only colour different is the brand name, in black and red. Then he will go check it, then OMG!

The rear one, brand name not sure, but all white and bar shape also, jialat.com. he sure know its from the same company -- ULTRA RACING! from the brand name, of cuz its for RACING! doh.gif

Fine, i still got time to think on the explanation. Haha. Think think. Most probably do the service this Saturday or next Monday. Good night everyone, don't sleep too late... nod.gif
