Hi people.. I need some help..I bought a fund from an agent..But her service is terribly bad..How to sell the fund I bought without her knowing it? Thanks a lot!

That's the problem with many Asians - not daring to tell off ppl who render bad service in the face.

That's why we continue to suffer with bad services from public to private sector grumble.gif

From PUb-Mut QTR1-2013 quarterly report:

KLCI is now trading at forward PER of 16.1% and 3.4% div yield. The 10 year average historical PER is 16.5% and12 mth Retail FD is at 3.15%. We are trading at very close to the 10 year historical average and the div yield is very close to the risk free rate.

My opinion is that unless your asset allocation is underweight on equities, hold first and wait for fresh lead.

For those kiasu type who is too overweight on fixed income, come out come out and play - play. Yes, you... You know who you are.

hi shadow_walker,

I share my mistake , when i move my UT equity fund to BOND fund in 2011.
Becoz kiasu with Euro crisis and bought a condo require emergency reserve for my condo installment.

I may like you enjoying the bull ride with equity fund. Why not wait until world show flu sign then you lock profit at bond fund.

Market crash dont take 1 day to drop till bottom. you still hv 3 month to decide.

Juz my opinion becoz im a greedy brows.gif investor, you may not follow way.

Im also not any SeeFood but whistling.gif water of the day.

yes, you not follow my way.

Juz need to monitor the market untill show flu sign in region you invest.

If you invest in euro fund, then definetly i will suggest to switch now.

Yes, as long as your EPF Account 1 is fulfilled the basic criteria set up by KWSP.

However without employment, your regular EPF withdrawal in Account 1 to invest in PM fund may not sustainable for long run due to no new savings is coming in during non employment period. :-)

Hi guys,
I have some extra cash which i dump into my flexy loan to save on 4.25% of interest. I was wondering is it better to dump into PM as I intent to take it out in 3 years time.

I guess 3 years will be too short term for UT investment. Possible to gain more than 4.25%pa for UT in 3 years but risky.

rclxms.gif yes, dun forget to include the sales charges of 5%, so assuming 4.25pa X 3 + 5% SC = 17.5% ROI in 3 yrs...about 5.8%pa only IF there is no downside...
look for other fund that has cheaper SC...maybe can consider,....by like Kaka23 said..."RISKY"

Ya.. Though with current market situation, say invest in asia ex Japan, it can be achieve in say 1.5 yrs. But there are possible of market downturn or correction when approaching 3 years time then how? Say all your earlierier earnings being realm by the downturn. So that is why I say risky.
