Disconnected and re-connected in a few secs only. Still, you're dced for a while.

I see, if once a day still acceptable la. Most probably caused of product positioning (dynamic IP). Then they can sell fixed IP at higher price..

Non-resumable direct link will need to start again from beginning. 24h cctv surveillance might have some interruptions. Online gaming might dc as well. If you do not mind or you monitor the time ip renewal time, there might as well has no problem.

if exactly 24 hour should be no problem.. Just on-off you modem at 4-5 am once and you set. As for direct download, only free account for rapidshare and etc. will be affected. If you wanna download for 100GB a months better invest in rapidleech or newsgroup. As for 24h cctv surveillance, a few second should be ok.. Most cctv record is using LAN, just when owner wanna view the recording he/she will be using the internet. Just remember, RM99 will get you 1mbps streamyx before..

How about international line.. able to support 5mbps for most of the time? My unifi is slow down around 8-12pm to around 3-4 mbps. Other than that, fully able to utilized 5mbps.

We found out after testing, theres a problem with one of program online running, since we have unifi too, we tested both unifi and p1 fiber, only p1 fiber got the problem. Management decided its not worthwhile, so even thought p1 fiber is cheaper on same package speed, but the problem lies on p1 ip range. So decided to cancel it.
But nobody knows know to do cancellation on p1 since its not mention on p1 website and what is the penalty since the installation was done this week, tuesday.

So how do we go about the cancellation process, I remember there's trial period for p1 wimax but I dont know p1 fiber got this trial or not. Thanks.

As for the application, its company confidential.

Maybe you can share what's really the problem since you already tested it. Most of the time it's just a setting. Never encounter anything to do with ip range. Except for some geo-based restriction. which mostly not applied in malaysia. Something like hulu or netflix.

Unless you said the provlem about routing, latency and international bandwidth than it's understandable.

Default 5060 port for sip is often configurable and it can be of any higher ports, UDP.
Why would you use the same port as P1?
Alternately, just release P1's sip port from the voip config.

If you have static IP addresses, you can use one-to-one NAT.
Change the default sip port 5060 on each phone to a different number diff RTP ports.

Now I know why P1 has the weird term:
P1 voice line must be active with bare minimum of one (1) call per month/bill cycle - to any number, on any call duration.
Naturally P1 does not want anyone to mess with or configure their own sip server.

Now this makes me wonder whether
Unifi and Maxis uses 5060 for their sip server.

My suggestion, cancel P1

Unifi is using different vlan for voip. So it's will not conflicted with user setting. Maxis dunno.

Easier, use different sip port which is configurable by user.
