if exactly 24 hour should be no problem.. Just on-off you modem at 4-5 am once and you set. As for direct download, only free account for rapidshare and etc. will be affected. If you wanna download for 100GB a months better invest in rapidleech or newsgroup. As for 24h cctv surveillance, a few second should be ok.. Most cctv record is using LAN, just when owner wanna view the recording he/she will be using the internet. Just remember, RM99 will get you 1mbps streamyx before..

How about international line.. able to support 5mbps for most of the time? My unifi is slow down around 8-12pm to around 3-4 mbps. Other than that, fully able to utilized 5mbps.

That's just great.
Let's see how long can it go...
Rather skeptical about your claim.

I haven't encounter an online program that is dependent on ip address, not yet.
moreover, P1 and unifi shares the same backbone.

Your management decides it is not worthwhile compared with unifi?
charity organization issit?
P1 RM99 vs Biz5 RM199
simple solution to your problem, just give P1 a call.

for business doesn't only look at the price, there are other factors like reliability, backward compatible.... etc

maybe I sounded harsh but I am skeptical about his claim.

This is internet access we are talking about,
Nothing involves backward compatibility or reliability.
Either there is internet or there is none.

I assure you,
I am one of the most demanding, fussy,
pain-in-the-ass customer where internet access is concerned.

I do not tolerate disconnections, not even frequent ip renewals
throttle of p2p, bandwidth shaping, website blocking,
high pings, quotas or lousy wifi routers.

If there is anything wrong with P1 fiber,
I would know.

hey~ super user any idea?

We are running a SIP server using port 5060. Apparently P1 fiber router Voip is also using the same port.
We are not able to do port forwarding on the port to access our SIP Server from external.

Anyone encountering the same problem and got idea on how to resolve this. Forget P1  cs.

If we can't resolve this. we might need to cancel P1 fiber.
