Eventually the public will find out who's OEM. We prefer to make things easy for everybody. We'd try to make samples of all models available at Heavy Arm starting tomorrow, albeit wrapped in saran wrap. We are one of the very first country to receive the RK9100, it's a Computex 2012 product, very short on quantity now. Next production will only be ready by Q4

Yup. They do OEM. In fact, there are many OEM brands that now retail their own products. In terms of PSU, Seasonic, FSP, and AcBel are some of them. Sometimes, believe it or not, rebranded and tailored made products from OEM company ends up having better quality. To us, it's more than that. Rosewill has came a LOOOOONG way from being a Newegg's iCute brand, to something that more properly represent their mother company's image - excellent quality, excellent pricing. It's only recently that they new product line has been tightened up and significantly improved though. They now OEM from some of the best companies out there.

Depends on how much you know about who manufactured them, and how much you want to pay as premium for the marque.

Red is the softest and very easy with typo. If you like to glide your fingers over the KB while typing that's the one to go with.

QUOTE(Human10 @ Sep 11 2012, 08:12 PM) But according to some early reviews/comments months ago, their QC isn't done too well. Some random boards(out of don't know how many) are having issues of mis-soldering(in other works they missed up to solder some switch legs or parts). As they are from Costar, I think their built quality is undoubted. Just that hoping not much people being unlucky to get failed QC products, and hoping they will address or solve this issue, not to say that further secure it with warranty/exchange.P/S: Sorry if this issue had already being solved(I had not surfing other keyboard forums for months already). Added on September 11, 2012, 8:13 pmTry "jelly POM"(translate to Chinese). Added on September 11, 2012, 8:20 pmKeycool serve well for its price. It is solidly built, together with lot of features and accessories, can consider a bang for buck. P/S: You may hate the weird spacebar spacing for its non-BL models. THREE Years warranty for Rosewill RK9000. You have nothing to worry about.

QUOTE(bv2427 @ Sep 20 2012, 01:06 PM) Doubt they'll let you do that, haha. But it is 3 years warranty. If it fails a few more times during that period; would love to upgrade to a Filco Ninja. So you got a lemon, which happens. We'd verify the problem, and if it's defective and cannot be resolved easily, we will give you a BRAND NEW keyboard. It's that simple.

QUOTE(bv2427 @ Sep 20 2012, 05:53 PM) Alright, cool. Hope it doesn't take too long, as I said, only 12 days after usage and this happens, that's not so cool. FYI, the brown key is already sold out in 1 week. We have over 90 units coming.

I like MX Red for the soft, smooth, and linear action. I type on it almost 12+ hours a day. Brown lacks the smoothness that Red has, and lacks the particular clicky feeling that blue has. Yet it is the most demanded cherry MX key...

QUOTE(bv2427 @ Sep 20 2012, 09:21 PM) Any idea where to get Leopold? Seems like the brand has disappeared from Malaysia.. And Inter-Asia sells Filco. Full sized Ninja for 419. Leopold is dead. Distributor not bringing it in. Volume and popularity wasn't too good, although the board is rock solid. RM 419 Added on September 20, 2012, 10:11 pmQUOTE(bv2427 @ Sep 20 2012, 09:37 PM) Cycom @ LYP LEVEL 2 as well. But they haven't listed the boards in the price list yet. It's the same anywhere. The Cherry MX board is also available at Cycom. It is made low profile, and you will feel that the distance of travel would seem shallower somehow although it shouldn't matter
