Costar "style"(not made by Costar, and also I don't think this style of stabiliser is patented by Costar, just that no other name to call it and Costar made kbs are covering most population among all mech kbs which using that style of stabiliser)

In Chinese, it is named "平衡杆".

For other boards(Cherry, Ducky, Leopold, SS7G/6G and so on), it is using the Cherry style of stabiliser. Called "卫星軸"
*
Any ways to determine "平衡杆" and "卫星軸" ? By the way here's a picture of the stabilizer.

Captured with lousy phone doh.gif

How about the ones used in CM, PLU and HPE-87? Those are also 'wire stabilizers'?

Whats wrong with Keycool? It serve all other KBs can serve at a price below RM200.

The only flaw is the different spacebar standard(which also shared by Leopold what...). Somemore there is lots of mech kbs out there which using weird length of spacebar, and they will face even harder time/forever to find a replacement for it...

LOL lycosa, not only being "booo" by us here but also by most owners. I guess it serve nothing but bling bling.

BTW bro, had you made up your mind that MX Black is your way to go? Not thinking of other types of switch?
*
It don't feel right. tongue.gif

I've tested my friend's CM QFR(for about 1 week, we swapped) it feels more solid. the space bar/shift is not so shaky compared to KC. I never tried a Filco before. Maybe its just me feeling things or thinking too much. doh.gif

BTW it cost around RM230 plus shipping.

yup lycosa is a piece of ****, lol bad investment.. TT

I think MX black is my cup of milk.. i've tried the blue (Razer), clicky sound is cool but, the feel is like -->----->, initial click then auto lock in.. i did use double click, i scare that might effect my daily usage..

the brown switch, just like the black switch, but it lacks the feel of the key response.. never tried red..

i normally use for gaming and typing articles, which switch suit me? smile.gif
*
If you prefer mushy, you can try O-rings. It feels more erm..bouncy tongue.gif
Ohh..I'm using Red with thick O-rings.

I should probably let you try the WYSE with cherry stabilizers
Then you know what is a plastic and solid cherry mx board  biggrin.gif

Plus, when it was available last year in TB, it was RM200 shipped to me. A new WYSE at that.
*
You mean the WYSE is more solid? flex.gif

WYSE keycaps set with WYSE moogle kit.
WYSE keycaps from the keyboard, pretty easy to get. WYSE Moogle kit was a one deal moogle GB, those are harder to get.

Stuff that are hard to get mostly = EXPENSIVE!

erm... Those keys are meant for the F rolls,

which is the key of F1, F2, to F12 and Esc, and those ScrlLock, PageUp, and the same roll key,
if you put them all in the Numpad area, they will all look and feel awkward when typing.

Mechanical keyboards are different design in different rolls,
if you take out and check the keys on the F roll and the "A" key,
they are different angle, to make it easier to type on.

hmmmmm interesting......
anyone gotten that? does it peel off easily?
what happen if we peel it off after a while?
will there be glue sticking on the key top?

what if we stick it on a keyboard with legends?
does it cover up the wordings?
*
I don't know leh. If sticky can use alcohol to rub it off. Looks nice in the vid tongue.gif

Get silicone based lube. Do not get mineral oil based, those will kill the plastic.
What keyboard are you using?

Most of the boards in the malaysian market, it should be hard to get them damaged. Unless you are using those ring keypullers.
There are no markings on the bottom right of the case.
Though, it's not a lite. lite has arrow cluster.
*
Ring keypullers will damage the switch as well? I thought will damage the keycaps only.
Mind to explain how?

Ring Keypuller provides uneven keypull tension on the stem.
This means that it is easier for the stem to get out of the housing, sideways. Once the housing gives way, you have to do operation on the keyboard already.

It wasn't nice. I had to do it once on my keyboard due to the keys from KBC that were too tight.
Also, Pro2 has USB port to the PC in the middle
*
And I thought i was lucky to get 2 ring pullers from Keycool doh.gif
Anyone selling wire pullers? pm me tongue.gif

blue with normal o-rings bought from kaysa. now i think i got no problem to get more pbt since it can 'glow' under my backlit, so the looks still nice with or without backlit on.
*
The white side print PBT is also from kaysa?
I got my O-rings from him too.
after O-rings inserted, will the blue sounded as noisy?
