So strange that I have not seen a single ad on this..!

Lucky I browsed through this thread again..if not, maybe the channel would never have been seen on my decode..

Anyone here or anyone knows who can speed up my Astro application process? damn slow man..

They offered me that RM50 flat rate 2nd Byond more than a month ago..and I accepted and Ive been trying to get updates on the status..been calling them every three days for the past week yet their response is still no installer..

Who can speed up the process?

I really hope this time with Astro winning the rights to all 380 BPL matches from next season, I hope they show all the matches Live on Tv..right now, eventhough they have the rights to all the matches, some ade still delayed on Tv but all are available online..i hope they can come up with what Fox Sports in Australia and the US and also what mio have in Singapore where they have temporary channels on matchdays to show all the matches..this would be good not just for BPL fans but also for fans of other keagues and also other spotts so that the current channels are not sacifice for the BPL alone..

Agree with u most of the time regarding kids programming on astro and how they dont give a damn about it..

But its a bit disrespectful when u thrash local product like Upin Ipin..not to say its so good but when u say ur quality is not that 'low', thats a bit disrespecting to Malaysians who like it..u dont like it? fine but others like it and they dont have to be high class like u to like other things..

its ok if u dont like it..its ok if u want to thrash astro but dont brag about ur high class here..

we are Malaysians..we respect one another..

Just saw an ad on ESPNEWS that ESPN will be renamed FOX Sports from 28 January onwards..

Has this been discussed here before? Anyone with any info about this?

just wish we could do without ESPNEWS or FOX SPORTS NEWS..wuld rather have Sky Sports News HD tbh..the way ESPNEWS turn their SkySports news material into their own is depressingly sad.would just love it if we actually get the news from the original source with actual presenters like in the UK.

Guys..

I am staying at my parents home right now and have Bond decoder with byond dish..next month im moving out to an apartment on the 8th floor..the thing is, as the apartment already has an old dish attached to it..currently, my cousin who is staying there has a byond decoder connected to the old dish..

question is, if i just bring my decoder and connect to the old dish, will there be any signal problems? I know the old dish works with the byond decoder as I have been doing this whenever I balik kampung to my grandparents home..but the most I have watch the tv during this time was maybe 4-5 days..no problems..

but will it have problems in the near future maybe? real hassle for me if want to call astro, pasang the byond dish on the 8th floor..rm50 right for installing at new location right?

one more thing..recently my parents added a 2nd byond to the house with the RM50 offer..but wtf..the decoder was new but the dish was bloody faded..it was the 'new' dish but looked so 2nd hand..u could hardly make out the astro logo on it..and it was fixed next to my older byond dish wish was still looking brand new even after using it for 3 years now..

Dont think u can do that..trying changing new batteries first before u buy a new one..but in actual fact, ur remote has warranty for life so u can just go change it..

Saw the ad for Supersport 4..not sure but I think its on CH810..the ad was too fast and I thought it was just a normal sports pack ad..but I think they are re-numbering the Supersport channels..but definitely will be a permanent ch810, definitely will be a Supersport 4..not sure if there will be a Supersport HD 3 though..

ok..to end ur concern, Astro can still use your existing dish..but they will still give you a new dish for you to keep..i already had 2 dish on my in laws house..I wanted my ow PVR..installer came..he used one of the existing dish..the spare one, he let me keep..

on another note, my brother moved house recently..he rented an apartment that already had a dish..he just needed to bring his decoder from his old house..the dish at his apartment was the old light grey dish..then my bro wanted to upgrade to PVR..the installer came and was angry because he thought previous installer never changed dish for that apartment since he saw my bro was using normal byond..hehe He changed it for him anyways:lol: he was a very polite and concerned installer..

and Astro installer absolutely hate installing at bungalows or complicated wiring system houses..he said bungalows usually have to hack the walls to install the cables and usually owners are too fussy..he loved kampung houses though..ketuk2 anywhere also can and owner didnt care as long as TV ada gambar..haha
