QUOTE(m_imrun @ Sep 2 2012, 04:00 AM) Actually, this is not a good news at all. Do you know why the History HD suddenly has subtitle while the others don't? This is because the channel is not HD. Its just an upscale from the sd feed, since it is now broadcast in 16:9 view. There are alot of pixelation. This also explain why the sd and the hd are broadcast simultanously. WTF Astro. Trying to cheat us again. Also we've essentially gone from having two History channels with different programmes to just one channel, i.e. less viewing choice FFS Astro.

QUOTE(Qash-M @ Sep 7 2012, 12:37 PM) Been expecting, but not this sudden. (people's rant on KBS World HD on Astro) Also, did Sky News HD goes on under (expected) news pack or basic one? [attachmentid=3037973] Would I be right in guessing it'll be the same Sky news channel as broadcast in the UK? Seems a bit strange they haven't advertised this at all. Not that I'm complaining. Does anyone know if there will be an SD version of the channel broadcast too?

I got a call from Astro today about them wanting to install some fibre optics thing for my astro to replace the satellite dish. I wasn't really paying attention as I was quite busy at the time but has anyone else heard about this?
I would rather not swap to fibre optics as I don't want my computer internet speed to slow down when I'm watching TV and I don't want to have buffering issues with the astro either, aspecially as I have 2 STBs.
Also I subscribed to Unifi within the last 2 years so would probably have to pay a fee to disconnect that. Is the astro internet reliable?

I don't actually use the TV hypp tv at all, I told the installer not to bother setting it up as I don't have a TV in the room with the router so no idea what I'm missing on it.
Hmm, if there aren't any extra channels on Astro IPTV then I think I'll just stick to Satellite Astro and fibre optic Unifi internet. Doesn't seem much point in changing (especially as my internet is 10mbps, and the above person said Astro is 6mbps).
Thanks for everyone's input.

Can someone help me with a question o billing. I've tried to find what my subscription is online but keep getting an error.
I've just paid my yearly fees of MYR2,500 approx but I never understand the breakdown on the paper bill I get so I think I may be paying too much. I have the following: Astro PVR with HD, and a second astro non-PVR HD STB (both have the following channels) Movie pack News Pack Learning pack Cartoon pack Variety pack Metro Pack Sports Pack
The bill says something about super pack 2 but it doesn't mention multiroom at all. Could someone please tell me if I'm over-paying for what I subscribe to? Thanks :-)
