dear sifus,

I just got my Astro last month, signed up for the RM155 a month package with HD and PVR.

But when I press the PVR "Record" button on the remote, I get the message that "PVR function not available"

Why is that? rclxub.gif

Channel 728 Life Inspired HD.

Full programs already started at midnight 01-10-2012.

At the same time, Channel 706 closed as shown by screenshot posted by Qash-M earlier.

Call the Astro CS to check your package eligibility.

That's not needed. Highly likely, your decoder isn't the PVR type. I have SuperPack 4 too with PVR service, but because the decoder isn't the PVR type, the PVR function isn't available.

Not entirely true... it's not free per-se.
You may need to pay RM100 to lay dual RG-9 cables to fully use the dual-tuner on the B.yond PVR HD decoder

MISLEADING PROMOTION

say RM155 package GOT PVR

but when sign up did not tell the details (what equipment are needed, what additional charges to pay etc)
