Erm... not in Sabah. There are people using their own satellite dish but usually it is installed at the back of the house where it is not visible to other people. It is a whole different story in Miri and Sibu though

i just installed my astro beyond this afternoon and activated on the same day
can i straight away change the package?
do i get any charge? and does it affect my contract? +_+

Contract for 24 months
Just got installed this afternoon

But let say i add one package, example SPORT,
does it mean i have to continue with that package (plus sport) up to 24 months?
Or the contract is only for the decoder only?

Hi, I just subscribed to maxis IPTV as well, but did not get that Astro Select additional channel. Did you straight away get or need to do something? Btw, if the internet is down, we wont be able to watch the channel thru satellite except for the 4 channel right?

You must be a subscriber of Astro B.yond IPTV with Maxis Home Fibre Internet and take one of the following in your Astro subscription:

If there is a disruption in B.yond IPTV service, you will not be able to switch to satellite to watch all the channels except NTV7 (Ch107), 8TV (Ch708), TV Al‐hijrah (Ch114) and TVi (Ch180).

Can I just ask..is there any possibilities that these new channels on IPTV will be brought to normal transmission i.e normal Astro..? Considering taking it in if Astro is stopping bringing in new channels on their normal platform..
