"has ceased transmission" sounds misleading.....Starhub n SingTel also uses exact lines like astro.....makes it sound Luke the network itself has closed shop where in fact its dropped from carriage.

Oh yes, nice. Strangely, the 3 Discovery channels are HD in Taiwan. cable operator yet to update the Website logo of Science.
Read somewhere Bio n CITV are in HD in Thailand but only SD 16:9 on Starhub. Oh well......we are all spoilt for HD chs now. :-) Attached thumbnail(s)

Starhub churn lower but new subscribers flat.....means not much new subscribers subscribe due to mio TV. Ha Ha.

Thanks.....I've kept Starhub subscription to the minimum 3 basic groups....am takin those movie chs pack on mio TV instead. :-)
Btw, some test HD chs added to Starhub EPG, 2 HD news, 1 Ent HD n 2 factual HD. My guesses are Warner TV HD, bio HD n CITV HD. Not sure abt news chs though.....maybe CNNI HD n BBCW HD. Will update again. Have a good weekend. |

Cat out of the bag. CNNI HD, BBCW HD, WarnerTV HD, Bio HD n CITV HD are the new HD chs launching on Starhub. Add channels so people may forget that Starhub is increasing the prices. Smart.
