Did changing the Beats setting affect the sound? Coz mind didn't.
You can find Windows 8 drivers here. http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-drivers...2xxx-intel.html.

Yes..It changed the sound....

For bluetooth driver...
MediaTek RT309X / RT539X WiFi Adapter ver5.0.25.0 (04 Jul 2013)...this is the one to install?
Let me know if i missed something or wrong

I've tried to install bluetooth driver but failed ..said i didn't turn on bluetooth or hardware missing....any solution?

MediaTek? try Ralink / Motorola Bluetooth + High-Speed Adapter. Can you see Bluetooth adapter in device manager? Try toggle Wifi function key off and on.

I've tried installed Motorola BT +High speed adapter....& I can't see Bluetooth adapter in device manager after Win8 long time ago.....Any solution?

I just found out Beats Audio has no sound diff in Music/Voice/Movie mode blush.gif Only diff in ON/OFF Beats...are you in same condition?

I remembered when in Win7....there is an application to toggle wifi & bluetooth ON & OFF switch...I lost this application after win8.....Do you have any idea where to find this app/driver to install? Maybe it's software mode has switched off my bluetooth?

Some people do facing missing bluetooth after win8 as link..

You can try download HP Wireless Assistant in the first page but usually Bluetooth will activate when you press Wifi fn key.

Are you using Win 8 or Win 8.1?
*
From stock Win7 updated to Win 8 early this year & lost bluetooth function (At the same time, I've found this is common issue to all DV6/7 worldwide & some other brand laptop too...no solution to get back bluetooth til now) & recently updated to Win 8.1 still without BT.
