Just got a new lappie, so my Dv6 will be pass down to my dad. Haha
Just wanna ask how can I reformat my com and reinstall windows using the recovery disc. I've tried to check online but no solution
You reinstall your windows to ssd before right. Do you know how ?

I've decided to stick with this laptop.
But I'm planing to change it to an SSD and to Wins 8.
Has anyone switch to wins 8 yet ?
Is there any driver problems for the gpu ?
And my budget for the SSD is around Rm400+- .
Any recommendations ?

i think I'll go for the crucial m4.

Oh yeah 1 more thing Acid, when you install the leshcat driver, do you get the watermark thing on the bottom right ?
I've checked, if you remove it using the tool, under computer -> properties -> windows is activated -> (click view details in windows activation) -> current edition(would be blank) instead of stating your version. Is this because of the DSE ?

I just installed 13.3 v2.2
I think it's not really stable yet, you can't switch your gpu.

ah alright, oh yeah.
the list of drivers you gave me, which ones are important to install for wins8 ?
so far, I've install the
wifi(ralink),
synaptics,
audio codec,
Intel Rapid Storage Technology,


oh one more thing, I tried looking for the bluetooth model from device manager but I can't seem to find it.
which bluetooth driver did you install acid ?

but if you really want a stable one you should use this instead



Tested on Wins8.
Works so far mang

Will try the 13.5 and drop some feedback later

13.4 had some brightness toggling issues.
Leshcat’s Catalyst 13.5 Beta2 UnifL working fine so far.

All I need was a screwdriver when I took out mine. I think I used the same paste as yours too.
