Job Title : Senior DTP artist
Years spent in company : 7 years
Industry : printing
Tenure : Permanent
Experience before joining : 1st job
Salary : from RM 1k last RM2.2

The last I heard from my old company, newcomers started off with 2k. sad.gif

Current
Job Title : Junior Bag Designer(promoted from Artist last year)
Job Description : bag design, POPs, help with fashion shows and stuff.
Years spent in company : 3 years
Industry : Retails
Tenure : Permanent
Experience before joining : starting from zero.
Salary : start 2.3k now 2.8k

I'm planning to get into a new industry/genre this June but I haven't search or decide yet. I have thought of working oversea or away from KL(feels stress living here). Going to be 31 soon and some how I worry I can't compete with the outside world anymore sad.gif

Starting afresh with a new industry from 31, needs a lot hard work, time, knowledge, etc to be successful. We all hear and see the good things that people say, but we seldom hear people say about failures and how competitive or hard their job is.

I'm ok with work stress, it's the personal matters that stress me, that is why I am considering some place further than KL.

I want to try a new industry because I want to explore what I can do with what I have and I want to experience new things. I'm not ready to settle for the higher level of same route yet. I know I'm a bit dreamy sweat.gif
