Need expert opinion, sought in Google/LYN, no solution found so far.

2011 Kia Forte 1.6SX, using original CD player, installed:

Attached Image

1 x Audiobahn Monoblock Amp
1 x Audiobahn 4 Channel Amp
1 x Alpine DD Linear Component in front
1 x MTX 5500 Sub
1 x Pre Amp
1 x Hi-Lo from Ori player (No RCA Output from player)
1 Fuse Box
RCA - Monster Cable
Normal Speaker Cable

Ground x 2 at back seat
RCA from Hi-Lo(Player to Preamp) run together with power cable at right side

Problem:
After installation there is a 'popping' sound from both the mid and tweeter, only when I on and off my engine. Not so loud, but still annoying, and afraid of permanent damage to my speakers.

Went back to the shop, wire checked, and RCA wrapped. Still similar symptoms. Tauke said its Forte player problem as no Remote output, so they connected using ACC. Tried sound suppressor, still similar problem.

Tried disconnect preamp, all RCA, still popping sound.

Sought Google, suggest Voltage Regulator, however, my Ori player runs on 14.4DC, not 5V.
SOS

Expert opinions from car ICE sifu are very much appreciated. Thank you.

this is an OEM integration system. as stock HU do not have remote out, hence the pop sound as the amp is turn on the moment u crank the engine.
the ideal is to alwiz have the HU turn on 1st then only the rest of the ICE hardware.

so the easiest n cheapest solution, install a manual switch to turn on the amps. switch can be located on the right side of the steering dashboard. the switch is connected to ACC to remote input on all ur ICE hardware.

turn on HU 1st then flip the remote switch to turn on all ICE hardware.

another way, is to install a preamp dat has a remote output which is based on input hi-level sensitivity sensing. but this will cost money.

kow tim.... happy icing

Cool, i never tried switch on the HU first then ICE stuff. The tauke first installed a small switch for me, but he didn't switch on HU first, he flip the switch with HU off and the 'popping' sound still there, that's y he took off the switch, arghhh.

Yeah will try that options, thansk bro, own a shop? May pay you a visit if you have one biggrin.gif
