Where do you scout? Yik Foong? Mind sharing? I'm from Ipoh too and I went back quite frequent. Can take a look there when I'm back.

Well, the typical market price now for RGs are cheapest RM93-RM98 (not warehouse or MIECC price lar ok), even for some of the more reputable online resellers. That is not inclusive of shipping to West Malaysia, which is RM10 typically.

So IMHO, it's pretty reasonable? Coz even if you buy at the shop directly, you still need to pay slight amount of car parking fee or maybe LRT/MRT fee...BTS car park fee not cheap actually. Unless you go there coincidentally. I normally sneak there while my wife's shopping

As for the MG Qant[t]...RM165 to RM170 is the cheapest so far i believe?? Again after shipping fee added, not toooo bad lar...

Well, for me though...sometimes i prefer to scout so that i can look at new stuffs in the shop, since hunting is part of the fun??

i'm not very familiar around ipoh yet coz just stay ther for few months.. & i only know two hobby shops at yik foong only..
well so far i see local on9 hobby shops cheaper even after shipping cost where i recently bought mg 00 qan[t] for rm150 + rm10 shipping cost.. should be arriving in 2-3 days from now..
and yeah, i miss the hunting part where i went to low yat, times square & sg. wang..

MG 00Q does have a place to put in LED units in its GN Drive, just like other MGs from 00 series. only problem is, the LED unit is sold separately (except for MG 00 Raiser)

either bought separately or his Qan[T] first batch or something. Mine one didn't come together. Have to buy separately

Yeah i stay near Ipoh too, seeing that model kit add more RM10 to Rm50 than price in KL certainly painful but i really not into shipping unless i buy in bulk or can't find it everywhere else here.
