it depends on the player u r using..WMP can't play .avi files..most ppl install TCPMP..it can play .avi files..and even .flv if you add in the plug-in..

search for smartmovie.... with codecs and converter... is the best

want to ask.. is there any ways to get dopod casing ah? my case scratch badly, wan change another 1..

I dont think theres any 3rd party casing, you must get all from HTC, and its freaking expensive + they charge you workmanship, because they do not want you to change the casing yourself and void the warranty

if i wan buy new mempory card, which 1 i shud look for, sd memory card? which brand is compantible wit this model?

upgrade your firmware to the latest.

i've experienced this problem before in earlier firmware, but it is solved with the latest firmware.

hey people, i have a serious problem here. my dopod suddenly restart about an hour ago and it never successful in loading the WM5.

i hard reset it. and it gets into the main interface once or twice but after few minutes and it is gone and restart again. most of the time it will restart at the red dopod word screen. I really hope this is a small problem. if not i won be repairing it anyway. i had a very bad experience the dopod company.

definately not loose battery or corrupt memory. any suggestions? aih, really feeling down cause of this.

Is ur battery extremely low?

the battery having more than 60% 2 hours ago.

Then try reflashing ur ROM. If that one also cannot, send it in for warranty under the problem description of "unable to bootup". They will take in one. Still under warranty?

obviously not under warranty anymore. this machine is going to be 2 year old. ROM cannot be flashed when you cant even boot it up. cause you cannot sync it with the computer.

Added on November 14, 2007, 11:01 pmguess what.. after taking out the SIM card. it is now working. i shall let it on for another long time. this is to see whether the real problem is caused by the SIM or not. Cause i did try the same method 20 minutes ago and the phone will still off. so far so good. let's hope it is the stupid SIM card.
