there are some. but no point for that as the dopod 818 pro has very short range for the IR to function.
it doesn't have the consumer-grade IR like those on TV remotes.

hmmm... it may all NOT be over yet. When u purchased ur Dopod 818 pro, did u register on the Dopod website? If u didn't then u may be in luck.

Unregistered devices' warranties start 3 months after they leave the factoy. So assuming that the lead time for the phone is 2 weeks and the shelf life is 1 week (as that time this model was still quite popular), that leaves an additional 2 and a half months' (give n take) warranty left.

So if u go claim now, u may be in for a nice surprise! But don't get ur hopes up TOO high though.

macam mana nak send mp3 via bluetooth?

go to ur file explorer.. select the file and hold (tap and hold), select send.. u shud be getting a few options depending on which file explorer (eg. resco) u're using.. infrared, email, bluetooth.. just select bluetooth..

just search for the receiver device and hit send..

make sure both devices' bluetooth are turned on..
remember to check the [Make this device visible to other devices]

If u don't see the "send by bluetooth" option, just select "beam file".

After a few seconds, the list of bluetooth devices should start appearing.

Make sure u have ur bluetooth on

anyone got any ideas where to get a silicone casing for 818pro?? Tried at pdaexpert and FG but none have stock. They said this model too old. Old case broke already

try Novacell at 1U. i saw some silicon casing there about 2 months back or so.

Sigh... my 818pro totally not overclockable. Anything above 195 as per omapclock.. than the camera got artifact liao.

Anybody got same issue?

my dopod 838 has a faulty touch screen,sometimes can use,sometimes cannot,i assume i have to change my touch screen.Does anyone know how much it costs?

hehe... u posted in d wrong thread la bro. anyway, it'll cost u between 300 n 600.

I've always registered it, the serial from dopod as well, and yet the problem always occur after a while. Sometimes it recover after a while and some other time it just stuck there. Guess I have to stop using CE-Star.
