free - ComicFlow
pro: free, syncing - you can just upload the folder and it will be grouped as a series, you can read it directly afterward
con: management-can't delete files, if you want to delete need to refresh collection and it will delete the previously synced comic

USD5.49 - ComicZeal
pro: management and user interface - you can delete files, you can arrange files, you can set if it is a manga or a western comic ( the way you flip the page.. manga right to left, western is left to right).
con: the only is that after syncing it to the ipad, it will take sometime to built the comic database, so you can't read it directly

both app can sync zip,rar,cbr,cbz

there was a manga app in Cydia also, you can dload your favourite manga into your iphone, but not licensed manga by the US (naruto, bleach etc)

But, for reading manga online, go to Kissmanga.com to read manga, it has been a blast to read manga on an Ipad there, they have all the manga that you have mentioned. Check out Noblesse also, a Manwha (Korean Manga)

I preferred ComicZeal than ComicFlow, worth the price.

thanks alot for the insight! but ill prefer an app that can download manga coz I want to read it offline, since mine has no 3G, i just downloaded Manga Rock 2, looks nice, the interface and also few stuff, Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball, Fairytail, it's all there, does comiczeal or comicrack handle offline reading and downloading very well?

aww.. too bad, really need download functions, coz syncing is troublesome, and I don't know a site where you can download 1 episode at a time, mostly manga website only provide reading, if want save that episode have to go page by page and right click save images

check out http://www.mangatraders.com/ or http://stoptazmo.com/ for downloading, no need rapidshare or such.. but can only download 1 file at a time.

if you go to kissmanga they show you all the images of a chapter, so just scroll down to read no need to go to next page. You can just save as complete webpage and get all the image. I also have a wifi only Ipad, so it has been a pleasure seeing all the chapter image in one page rather than other site that have to click next page.

thanks for the tips! But ill rather prefer an app that can do all the job instead of syncing again and again, ComicZeal cost 5$ something, Rock Manga 2 cost 3.99$ and get all jobs done, hehe, you should try the free version though, all functionality is there except that it is ads supported and can only store 1 type of manga at a time, I havent buy yet, still testing it, but already downloaded 50 episodes of Fairy Tales, so far all manga that I want is inside there, Samurai X, Arale, Ranma, Doraemon, Dragonball and etc, and there's ranking too for top manga, Naruto, Bleach, One piece, Fairy tale are all top 20

manga storm - free with ad below, 5 website sources and age >17 material (like manga rock 2 + batoto.net and mangahere.com) the most popular in app store now

manga rock 2 - new layout than previous version - the best layout ever with genre and status searching. 3 website sources (mangareader / mangafox / mangaeden). free version with ad and dont allow multiple download. currently maybe bugged with loading quite long for a manga app standard

manga bdr - what i'm using now, layout like previous manga rock, 5 website sources like manga storm. not free though. the lite version only allow earlier chapters. quite happy with this app now. maybe will jump to manga rock 2 if i can transfer my manga from manga bdr to manga rock 2

manga collection MF - was my fav previously on iphone. not free though. nice layout with advance search (was the best layout until manga rock 2 come out, imo). the suckest thing is, it doesnt have liscenced manga. as the name said, source is mangafox.

manga DL - very basic but not free. also doesnt have liscenced manga that liscenced under viz media and yen press. doesnt have free version for me to comment more. well, viz media have their own manga app look nicer but only 1st certain volume free (you can think of newsstand)

imanga reader - integrated with myanimelist to track what you've read. push notification for new chapter of your fav manga, page bookmarking. not free. thumbnail layout most people will like, not my taste. even on pc my files view is list instead of thumbnails. first you load its gonna take very long time adding manga title (for the thumbnail i suppose). previously was in my iphone too. not free but now you can upgrade it by taking some survey. free version no download, stream only. dunno what website this app take as their source. previously it was linked to mangaone but now that mangaone dead, they didn't tell which website their leeching

mangablade comic reader - this app is the dark horse. it doesnt have specific website so you need to browse it yourself from its browser and download it yourself. support many types of archive file like rar and zip (yeah, downloading them). website bookmark for easier tracking. support background downloading. very nice for people that have manga they want but not from any normal manga website (you know what i mean) but its not free so i dunno if we can costumize one thumbnail for 1 manga or is it every chapter in each thumbnail, that would be messy. yeah i dont like thumbnails

hope this short detail and comment of each manga app would help you decide which is the best. all of them have their own nice features, it would be great if there's a single one that cover them all. also would like it if any people buy mangablade to review/comment on it further

really thanks alot for the tips!!! Im having fun with Manga Rock 2, purchased it already, although it is quite expensive, 3.99$, but I guess it's worth killing my time and store all my manga, going to Kuantan 2molo, that's why desperately need a good manga app, so I can read in the bus, Manga Rock 2 so far has 2 bug, one is whenever I open that app, it will force close once, have to reopen again, if it is still in memory it wont force close, but let say if you didnt open that app for quite some time, then it will happen, and when downloading manga, you cannot close the download tab, or else, it will stuck at there, so what I do is select what manga episode i want to download, download it, then off the screen and leave my ipad there, let say if you quit that app or close the download tab, it will stuck there and have to redownload again

if you've jailbreaked, you've got to try backgrounder and multiflow, see if it can help downloading the manga without need to be at the download page of the app or even use other app while it download in the background
backgrounder is free in cydia but multiflow is paid cydia app, its not important but it can help you see which app currently backgrounding and closing them
