What kind of pen u guys use to draw fine line arts?

I cant seem to find the Uni Pin pen lol.
*
Kinokuniya got Unipin and Artline water based ink.
Go g-pen/kabura pen/maru pen if you want to produce even finer lines.

Holy cow this is hard.
I suck at this.

Was trying to mimic color blending.. like most comic illustration.

Art resource by the great Artgerm.
Used it to practice painting digitally.

ARGHH!
More practice..

What software did you use?

Photoshop CS4.

'Got' Corel Painter 12, I've no idea how to use it & I'm only starting to teach myself with that...
I'll make the transition much later since its got tonnes of painting-specific tools and even better blenders.

I'll stick to CS4 for now till I'm decent at it.
*
How about try using Paint Tool SAI?
The software is specially made for illustration purposes and the color blending is kinda easy to understand too.

depend on you la. sai got engine that can stabilize line from your wiggle  wiggle hand.
it will turn the line smoother while other 2 do not offer that.
*
i was talking about color blending yo.
not line smoothness.

Guys, any tips for drawing realistic faces?

I can draw anime style faces, but I failed miserably at realistic faces. I been trying to draw my friend for ages, but I just can't seem make it resemble the person or realistic enough. Facing troubles especially at the eye and mouth and the overall shading I should use.

I need to reach a level where other people can see the picture and recognize the person I am drawing.

My skill levels is lower than the quoted Adamiquesce picture above.

I look at some tutorials, but none seem to help me at drawing better.

More info - I draw with purely pencil and paper, I don't use photoshop or anything to touch up.

practice and more practice
various pencil thickness; B, 2B, HB, H, etc...

I also want to get some opinion.
Master seba, please do help.
