No, i dont think we need another subforum of a specific game.

Instead, we need a way to consolidate games by devs or genre, such as Valve games like Dota 2, Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike" Global Offensive should be put under one forum named as Valve Games subforum. Same goes for Blizzard games for World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3, where they should be catogorised under one subforum for all Blizzard games. Instead of having 3 separate subforum to clutter the subforum list.

The reason I disagree with Guild Wars 2 getting an independent subforum  is because this request is being done due to the hype surrounding the game before release. The hype around this game might not be as much as now after the game release on 25th of August which in the end, you get a subforum with less activity.

Do note i am not hoping that Guild Wars 2 or any game to fail, but i just do not want to see almost empty subforum with little activity on the Games Hideout subforum list. For example, the Call of Duty subforum is pretty much dead these days.

I'm with Cheese here, GH is crowded with half-dead forums so I'd suggest some "cleaning" first and we'll see how GW2 thread grows when the game releases.

Previously I did suggest on making dev specific sub-forums like this:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

How about a new forum called MMORPG or Online Gaming instead of nesting inside Gamers' Hideout?

Perhaps it's a bit too big to dream eh? sweat.gif
Just think about the clicks and custom ad forum that you can get from GH. laugh.gif

Both games have their own glory times back in the days and indeed both needed the platform to host their local community but one has to ask about the longetivity of the game that drives the community. And what im seeing here is gamers change games too fast, today you'll be playing as a level 99 wizard and the other day onwards you'll be playing a stealth superhuman assassin.

Seeing how the sub forums became halfdead I doubt that the admins would implement the idea of making subs into forum, because eventually the samething will happen and forums will become half dead by the time the game releases.

But, I have to agree here that Guild Wars is indeed worthy of getting of its own forum or sub forum for the entire sequel. smile.gif
